I loved this from the first page. It has a relatable, intelligent female lead, a compassionate and troubled male lead and a cast of family and friends who add authenticity, depth, humour and poignancy to this lovely story. The couple have a slow-burn, passionate relationship, mirrored by believable emotions you invest in. Immersive storytelling brings vivacity to the characters, events and places. It's the perfect escapist, feel-good read.
