I listened to the audiobook version of this story. It works well in this medium. The narrator makes it an immersive listen, with each character distinct, vibrant, and perfectly paced. The story is a classic locked-room mystery with sharp, often witty commentary on the publishing industry. It's an easy listen but holds your interest. Whilst I guessed the main perpetrator, this didn't detract from the listening experience, and the steps to the final reveal were well constructed and often surprising.
