Kate and Connor are both medical professionals, but on the surface, they are complete opposites, until a potential tragedy draws them together. Bonded by their distinct yet significant emotional traumas in their past lives, they discover an inconvenient attraction simmering between them. It's an emotional medical romance set in New Zealand that explores the life-changing challenges faced by the main characters. The romance is gentle, which adds to the authenticity. Whilst it deals with heartbreaking events, there are many lighter moments too. The medical setting is realistic, the emotion believable, and the romance conflicted but worth the wait.
