This book reminded me of early Jilly Cooper. A kind of trashy but addictive reading - but not one to brag about. An entertaining read.

I have to be honest and say I’ve not read any books by this author or her famous author sister either! So I am going into this book with a clean slate and nothing to compare it with. I was keen to read it as the author is obviously such a huge star and I was interested to see how her writing compared to her acting!
The setting sounded divine with St Tropez being the playground of the rich and famous. I expected lots of sex, name dropping, parties and designer gear. I did get that, which was definitely the fun part of this book, but I also got a story that didn’t really get going for the majority of the time. The murder plot was promising but I did find it difficult to take it all very seriously! All in all, it’s great for a bit of light summer reading lazing round a pool!
This book was dedicated to her sister, Jackie Collins, who died shortly before this book was published.

Inoffensive and diverting. A beach read, but didn't particularly grab me. I love her sister's books.
