Unfortunately, this book was not a good fit for me. I found it difficult to stay engaged with the writing and, despite giving it an honest effort, I was ultimately unable to finish. While the premise had promise, the pacing and style didn’t hold my attention in the way I had hoped.
That said, I recognize that every reader connects differently with a story, and I can see how others may enjoy aspects that didn’t work for me. This simply wasn’t the right book for my tastes.
