The first novel in the The Corporation Wars sci-fi series.

Ken MacLeod is a great author, and in this novel he takes on a future dominated by corporations. However, rather than offering a rather tired retread of many, many other novels, he offers something a bit different. It's an action-packed novel, but not one that stints on plot, story and politics.

It's an interesting read, but a tad confusing at times. I'm interested in reading the rest of the series, but I'm not sure that I'm in a big rush to do so. Worth checking out if you're a fan of MacLeod's work already, but I'm not 100% this is a good intro to his oeuvre.
