This was a cute story to read....at Christmas time. I had been holding out for that exact reason 🤣
Dean and Natalie like to crash parties, not together of course but they do happen to keep popping up at the same ones and war is declared, lines are drawn.... Then they are completely stepped over and rubbed out.
I love how these two are enemies to lovers who also healed each other. Dean and his past and Natalie and her grief. I felt all the pain. Natalie's especially.
I guessed the twist, but to be honest, I think it was made to be obvious, I think to prepare us for the explosion when it happened. And when it did, I was surprised by Natalie's behaviour!! It was not what I was expecting!
This is a cute, addictive, and easy-going book that I adored. I'm just sorry it took so long to read!

I wasn't sure what to make of the book from the blurb but it was very funny from the outset. Two people - Dean and Natalie are party crashers or more specifically Christmas party crashers. When they start doing it to the same parties there seems to be a competetion on their hands. Each has their own reasons to be avoiding the festive season though this year seems to be just what they both need in more ways than one. A funny alternative to Christmas and parties.

Ohhhh I absolutely loved this book! Yes, I am slow at getting around to it but I wanted to wait until it was the right season too (although I am a little early).
Such a great, heartwarming story, full of loveable characters and moments. I would love to see this get turned into a film, it was that enjoyable!

How many office Christmas parties have you been to? Did you enjoy them? Will there be any this year? If not, maybe we will all look back fondly on those afternoons or evenings when we got together with colleagues.
In this seasonal romance, our female protagonist Natalie is an events planner. So...she knows where the parties are and crashes many. Then there is Dean. After an upset (no spoiler), he is not interested in a relationship. He, too, is a party crasher.
Readers can predict the trajectory of this seasonal novel. Still, if escape appeals to you and you miss the office holiday season, you may enjoy this title.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title. All opinions are my own.

Really enjoyable read. Good characters and a Good story. Well worth a read. Think others will enjoy.

I feel good Christmas read which I read in a couple of sittings. I enjoyed the storyline but it was a little predictable what was going to happen. Will look out for her next book.

An enjoyable festive read with likeable characters -I even found myself rooting for the overly dramatic Natalie. I liked the chemistry and the witty exchanges between Natalie and Dean. Predictable in places but well written.
4 stars.

My first festive read of the season. Totally makes you want to go to a party and roll in glitter and meet the man of your dreams!

This was a really fun quick read that was perfect for the long winter nights.
A festive storyline with some interesting characters! Thanks for letting me read!

Thank you! :c)

My review: Of course I could see what was going to happen a mile off, but I still enjoyed this light, funny romance about a pair of Christmas party crashers who go from enemies to lovers. I really liked Dean’s POV, especially his relationship with his brother, and his mother was absolutely vile. Natalie was harder to like because I didn’t get the whole aversion to Christmas thing, but her banter was witty and I could easily see this as a Bridget Jones type festive film.

My rating: 4/5

A fun Christmas read which I enjoyed. Would definitely recommend as a pleasurable way to while away an hour or two.

What a great book!! Very easy read and the characters are likeable
Fantastic book to while away a few hours over a cold weekend snuggled up by the fire it has the “feel good” factor
Will look for more by this author

The Office Christmas Party by Aimee Duffy was a fun book to read right after the holidays!

Natalie is party planner and due to her work she has the access to holiday parties. Dean is an IT software developer and he as Natalie has the access to the parties due to his work. This season Natalie and Dean are both alone, when they crash the parties, usually both of them had their bestie with them. When Natalie and Dean meet at the same parties they crush, they know that it’s one more party-crasher than expected and start pranking each other.
I really liked the party-crashing concept, it’s something I haven’t read about before. I also liked how the main characters met and how playful and creative they were. It’s a great book to get cozy with during the wintry and/or festive season.

Had such high expectations for this book and sadly it just wasn't what I hoped it would be. I didnt enjoy it. Nothing wrong with the writing and plot it just sadly wasnlt my type

I don’t actually know how to start this review, because on one hand I like the book and on the other hand I didn’t.
The story follows Natalie Taylor and Dean Fletcher. Natalie is done with relationships and she doesn’t like the time around Christmas, so she starts crashing Christmas parties. Dean is not a man for a serious relationship, due to things that happened in his past, but then he meets Natalie. The funny thing: he is a party crasher too.
Unfortunately, the story is very predictable and there were many parts I didn’t like in the plot. It didn’t have a smooth flow for me and I didn’t like how the story developed. I usually don’t mind predictable, but here something was off for me.
The steamy and hot scenes were a bit too much for me, because it was way more than I expected and it kind of overtook the whole atmosphere. Aimee Duffy’s writing style is entertaining and fresh.

This was an OK Christmas read. Not quite what I was expecting - but maybe I am just getting old when I say that I found the amount of 50 shades content and one night stands to be unnecessary.
I normally enjoy a few Christmas reads but this one was a disappointment to be honest.
Thank you to Netgalley for an early read in return for an honest review.

Unfortunately I couldn’t finish this book. I got to 15% and realized this wasn’t something I could enjoy. The writing felt juvenile to me, and although the plot is interesting (a girl crashes Christmas parties and meets a guy who also crashes Christmas parties), it wasn’t written well enough to keep me reading. For fans of romance novels, you may enjoy this! Just wasn’t the book for me.

Enjoyable romantic, festive tale. Enjoyable characters. Lead female was strong and funny.
Highly recommended Christmas read.
