I hadn’t read the previous books in the series but it wasn’t hard to follow the story. Even though I enjoyed the story it wasn’t anything outstanding so I’m not whether I will be picking up the other books by the author. Thanks to netgalley and publisher for providing me with the arc.

This was an entertaining read. It was book 4 in this series, but I had no problem following along.

This was the story of Cate (I love that it's Cate with a C) and Dave. Cate is a romantic at heart, but after her horrible life growing up, she had a "wish list" of qualities that she wanted in a man. Or at least she thought she wanted those qualities. When Dave shows up at her apartment to fix her busted hot water heater, she notices how attractive he is, but he's not very talkative. They run into each other in a few places and eventually start a relationship. Dave is hiding a bunch of stuff from Cate and it blows up in his face. I was soooo proud of Cate for not rolling over and taking his mess, but I honest to God thought they were finished and I wouldn't get my HEA for them. Thankfully, I was wrong!

While I enjoyed this, there was just something in there that kept me from adoring it. I can't exactly put my finger on it. It felt too long to me. Still though, it was a good read :)

Found this book a bit it hard to get into the story, which was ok and had alright characters but will try again in the future with this author. Thanks for letting me try your book.

Cate is the kind of person who loves lists. All of her friends have found their true love and she wants what they have. Therefore, she comes up with a list of what would make her perfect man. Then Dave steps into the picture and he has nothing on her list. Cate learns that lists aren’t all they are cracked up to be especially when it comes to love.
I thought Cate was funny and charming. I can definitely relate to her need for list making. I make lists for everything as well. Love is definitely not one of those things that a list can be made for though as Cate finds out.
Dave definitely has the bad boy vibe going for him. I love how he keeps Cate on her toes. I really enjoyed reading about their relationship. I look forward to reading more from Ms. Williams.
