DNF.

The first three books were okay, but this final book seemed to just drag at this point. It got to a point where it was just too annoying for me to finish it. Probably could have done with just 3 books instead of 4.

A beautiful wrap up to a series that has my heart! I loved all the characters in the book, but the Scottish setting was so rich and full that I felt like I was there. I’m sad to see the series end!

I love this series. My favorite movie grown-up was Brigadoon and this series brings back such wonderful memories!

I got a little way through this and then realised it’s like the 4th book in so I totally apologise and cannot review it as it would be extremely unfair until I’ve read them all which I plan to do then update my review!

I really enjoyed this whole series, this book didn't change my opinion of that at all. The writing in these books is amazing and the storyline pulled me in right away.

This book was everything you wanted on a series final book, it had adventure, so much action, dangerous to our must loved characters, love and a great ending. Duncan and Kenna were the couple that we always loved, fighting with each other but loving each other until the very ending. When Kenna wanted to learn how to fight so she could be part of the same army that would defend Doon, Duncan couldn't come to terms for a long time, until Kenna started training with others and Duncan couldn't take it anymore. If she was going to train and fight, minus well she was going to do it the right way and the only person the train her the right way, was him. So, he trained her and both fought together on the fight of their lives, each having their backs. It was so cute and amazing and fierce!!!
Vee and Jamie? Ah, those two were soulmates before they even realized and no matter what dangerous they were in, they felt each others pains and fought to get together again. And once together? They fought for their people and for Doon...
I loved this cute and corny series and would reread it again again. I got an eARC from Netgalley for this one!

I'm a big sucker for romance and YA books, and Forever Doon was no different. I enjoyed the elements and writing of the book, and hope Copr and Langdon write more like it.

This series has been such a treat to read! The character growth, descriptions, and morals and themes all come together so nicely! I sure hope there will be more books or even novellas set in this world because I need more!

Thank you netgalley for an e-arc!

I enjoyed the whole series and I own all of the books. They are fun and easy reads that I can devour. Out of the four books I would have to say that this is unfortunately my least favourite.

The series is about two friends that both have a calling to Doon. After they make it there they are faced with many challenges. One of the challenges is the Witch of Doon. Each book they encounter her, but the last book is where they have to defeat her.

Religion plays a large roll in this series, but I feel like sometimes they relied so heavily on their protector that they didn't really believe in themselves. Hopefully that makes sense, I'm finding it hard to explain.

I also found the ending to be slightly disappointing. It seemed like the puzzle to solve the witch was too easy.

Thank you netgalley!

I read the first books in this series after getting approved for this book and I had a tough time getting thru them too. The story has a good plot line but I was always very bored with the writing and story. I wanted to like them but it was not for me.

Loved the last book in the series. All you questions were answered to what happened to the characters. Loved the author's writing, it pulled you in and moved the story along nicely.

Forever Doon is the fourth book in the Doon series by Carey Corp and Lorie Langdon. As such, I don’t suggest reading this review until after you have read the previous books in the series because it contains spoilers.

The zombie fungus is back, and it is worse than ever. Half the Doonians get stuck in the modern world, including Kenna and Duncan; Jamie has reportedly been executed by the witch, who has taken over the castle; and Vee and her followers are gathering an army deep in the forest. Heartache and chaos abound.

Forever Doon is a wonderful conclusion to the Doon series. It ties all of the loose ends together in a spectacularly beautiful ending. At the end of book three or the beginning of this one, Jamie was executed, but something went wrong and he survived, unbeknownst to his friends. It was difficult to see Vee and Jamie suffer the way they did because of this, but their ultimately sweet reunion was worth it. I loved seeing both couples grow closer through all of their troubles, for they were better for it. Vee and Kenna also grew closer in a way one would not expect but that worked splendidly to the benefit of the novel. The ending was absolutely beautiful!

There were a couple of thing that did not make sense. Mainly, the callings from all over the world and the calling between Vee and Kenna. Those were miracles that had never happened before in the story world. They benefited the plot, but the calling between Veen and Kenna especially seemed as though it could have been a cop-out of the authors instead of finding a better to their solution. It was a cool idea, but it seemed almost forced.

Overall, I enjoyed Forever Doon as a great conclusion to the series. I would recommend the series (reading them in order, of course) to readers of YA romantic fantasy.

I received this book from NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
