I loved the flirty interactions between Lily and Robyn their chemistry was brilliant. Even though Robyn is a rake slowly but surely his personality is shown and I couldn't help but like him. Both characters develop well throughout the story and it was fun to see that they both weren't happy with their attraction to each other. Lily can't help but fall for Robyn but what about her decision to marry someone who behaves more like a gentleman. Who is the right choice for Lily?

The story is lighthearted and easy going and that's what I enjoyed most about this book. Lily and Robyn were equally likeable and I really enjoyed seeing where the story would go next. Especially to see what else Lily would get up to to ruin her reputation. Opposites attracting is always fun to see play out and this book is no exception. I liked the added extra of Lily's grandmother as it brought something else to the plot. A Season of Ruin is the second book in the Sutherland Scoundrels series and I would love to read Delia and Alec's story.

Fast moving at times and I never found there to be any slow parts. Perfect to sit back, relax and enjoy with a cup of tea and maybe even some chocolate!

Sizzling, fun & romantic!

Four stars from me!
