I am always on the lookout for Jennifer Probst books. After reading The Billionaire Marriage series and the Searching For series, I am confident that whatever she writes won’t just be romantic but also heartbreaking and heart pounding in its intensity.
This book is the 2nd in the Billionaire Builders series though it can also be read as a standalone (I haven’t read the 1st one…..yet).
The plot is deeper than Probst’s usual as it deals with tragedy, death and betrayal that touch the lives of both protagonists.
Raven was devastated by her father’s sudden death. Her heartbreak was made worse by the fact that her father was on his way to Paris, abandoning her for a woman she had never met, Diana Pierce. She hated what her father did, but she hated the sons of the woman more as they destroyed the reputation of her father in the aftermath.
After years of losing and eventually finding herself and her purpose, she goes back home and starts a business where her talent behind the bar gets noticed by everyone, including the Pierce brothers, particularly Dalton.
Dalton is the youngest of Diana’s 3 sons. Of the boys, Dalton was the one closest to his mother and her death caused a wound that never quite healed through the years. His trust issues are deeply rooted, and as a result, he has never had a real relationship in his entire adult life.
Both Raven and Dalton aren’t looking for a relationship, but one look at each other proves an immediate attraction that’s hard to resist. Dalton pursues Raven, not knowing her past intertwines with that of his. And much as Raven runs the other way, Dalton pushes his way into her life and into her heart.
What I love most about Any Time, Any Place is that though there is that instant attraction between the two, the time frame is more realistic. We’re talking weeks and months of pursuit, relationship development and emotional roller coaster before the happy ending (yes of course a happy ending….i’m a sucker for it……it’s Jennifer Probst after all). It’s not the usual instalove that seems to proliferate in romance fiction nowadays and I appreciate it. It’s more relatable because of this, as if Raven really could be a friend of mine whose tears I would wipe and Dalton whose ass I would lick..…I mean kick. Seriously!
The characters are developed well, including those of the support characters. And since I’m a fan of the first two series, I liked that there is someone familiar here. Izzy. Probst interconnects her books by putting one or two characters from old series into new ones, something which makes me personally more invested since the familiarity is already there. Brilliant move.
And because it’s Probst, lock this book away from your teenage kids. The sex scenes are fiery HOT that can give Fifty Shades a run for it's money, with no need for the extra tools (if you know what I mean). Sexy, seductive yet romantic…..this book is an enjoyable read.

Being the youngest brother of the Pierce family, Dalton Pierce has a lot to prove. He was never taken serious and they treated him like a child. But since his mom’s tragic accident, he’s made a name for himself outside of his home town. Now that he and his brothers are trying to save the family business he has his work cut out for him.

Following his dreams and passion in woodwork restoration, Dalton decided to take a job to restore the cabinetry of a local bar. What he didn’t expect is to fall for the owner. To make matters worse, she has a secret that is connected to the death of his mother.

It doesn’t make any sense why Raven’s father planned to leave her to be with some woman she has never heard of. Who is she and why would they leave?. This question has haunted Raven for years. But now, she gets a chance to find out the reason. Unfortunately, the only way is through the sons of the woman he left with. Getting to know them might be the only way to discover what truly happened.

I knew Raven’s tactics aka plans had disaster written all over it. But despite her wacky plan, I liked how independent she is and she handled herself when issues came her way. She certainly proved herself worthy in the end.

It was a rough start reading this book. I didn’t like the idea that Dalton‘s mom had a relationship with Raven’s dad and they themselves end up falling for each other. It was hard not to think that they could’ve been stepsiblings. But when I put that fact aside, I was able to enjoy the story. I thought Dalton and Raven were a sweet couple and their love story was an enjoyable read. I appreciate Probst’s attention to detail when it came to Dalton’s job. It felt like I was watching a Home Improvement show. I love Dalton’s honesty to what he wants from a relationship and most of all, is how he pursued Raven. It t was quite romantic.

Not my favorite, but overall, Anytime, Any Place was a satisfying read. I’m hoping the next installment will wow me the way Probst books usually does.

The Pierce Brothers are back by Jennifer Probst and though he is the youngest Jennifer just sexed Dalton Pierce up to full potential. In Cal`s story Dalton is the carefree, never thinking of the consequences kind of guy so in his own book he is not what you would have expected. I loved Raven in this book for not only is she bad ass but you can almost taste her drinks and make you want some. He is a cool sexy kind of a guy that will make you thirst for more and she is a drink of sexiness he wants to taste all the time. Two people who share a past and through tragedy love can overcome anything maybe even secrets. Jennifer Probst`s new series The Billionaire Builders will make you want more and even make you wish for your own hot, sexy personal home builder.

There's just something about artists that always makes things that much more complicated. Maybe because artists, in general, tend to have quite a few layers to their characters. Either way, Dalton, the youngest Pierce brother is just that. There's so much to him that we get to really explore in this second installment of the Billionaire Builders series. Even Raven, the local bar owner, cannot get her head wrapped around why she is so insanely attracted to this one guy that her history has dictated as an arch nemesis. Raven, herself, has a million layers to get to know, too. What is she hiding under that tough-barkeep persona? I felt that the premise of this story alone is interesting enough as it is--Dalton and Raven are so right for each other even though it all seems so wrong.

Probst's writing style prevails in this book. She does not disappoint with her emotionally charged and intense characters. Her writing has always been able to get to me on an emotional level. There are a whole lot of heart wrenching moments. The chemistry between her characters is hard to find and I have no issues relating to them and feeling right alongside them. Can't wait for the next book!

The second book in the Billionaire Builders series continues on with Dalton's story. In book one we found out about there are secrets in the family. This plays heavily into this story as it's the one thing that hinders Dalton and Raven, well mostly since they both share a past that needs to be unlocked. For Raven, she's hell bent on revenge for something she thinks the Pierce Brothers did. Which I think they got their lines crossed somewhere.

Raven was hard to read at times. She had many layers to her. Dalton is a really talented woodworking artist, a perfectionist in his craft. While Cal's book was about house flipping and construction this was more about Dalton's love of wood and his passion. Finally getting into his own at Pierce Construction. Along with the bartender that has always intrigued him but always turned down his advances. Raven is passionate about her drinks, mixing them that is. She loves her pub and her only joy nowadays. Raven doesn't want to crush on this hot regular at her bar but Dalton has the hot factor. Good thing she put her walls so thick and tall right? That connection that shimmers beneath the surface is there hovering.

Dalton has to talent to restore her bar, make it shine like he knows. Once she does and they constantly work together. She wants to get answers though. Will her love to hate attitude towards the Pierces' be discovered unwarranted after all? Or will her quest for revenge hinder something good that can happen? I think actually their secret is pretty much equal on each end both betrayed leaving them unresolved. I feel as though it could have been dealt with directly. That said, I highly enjoyed the banter, back and forth and tension between them that stayed on simmer until it reached a boil. In fact, they are quite similar that it made sense that connection.

I enjoyed that the most in this installment, the build up that I felt would come to the climax of it all. Dalton was definitely different from his brothers, in personality and outlook. Most often overlooked for his player and not serious approach. Of course, we have cameos by one of the more recent characters from Jennifer Probst's other series too. The brothers bond is special to be part of. The author's writing style still wraps you in the story and keep you engaged. While I loved the theme of book one with the house renovations more I liked getting know a new aspect of it. I look forward to Tristan's story. Maybe Brady will get one too. -Mari, 4 Stars

This was so boring. Raven’s need for revenge against the three brothers made no sense at all. Her father was killed in a car accident while running away with the Pierce brother’s mom. Raven has spent years feeling betrayed and angry. She has built up this story in her head that the Pierce brothers mom was an evil seductress that took her daddy way.

Dalton Pierce is attracted to Raven and wants her but she pushes him away. He tries to get an in with her by asking to restore her bar. They get closer as he works on her bar but she tells him she wants forever and Dalton is a playboy. They finally give in to the sexual tension but Dalton has no idea who Raven is to his past history. As you can imagine this is going to blow up when he finds out who she is.

As stated above I was beyond bored. Most of the story is Raven trying to get details about Dalton’s mother from him. It was just silly. If she was so tough and strong then why didn’t she just confront the brother’s? The dragging out was annoying.

I love a good rivals to lovers book and when you throw in the added tension of one of the parties not knowing why they are rivals it gets even more interesting.

Dalton is the known player of the trio of Pierce brothers and had his eye on the sexy owner of My Place for a while, but she won't give him the time of day, that is until she's in need of renovations to her bar and Dalton is the best man for the job.

Raven does everything she can to avoid the Pierce brothers because of their connected pasts, even if they aren't aware of who she is exactly. When she needs her antique bar renovated, Dalton Pierce is the just the man for the job and it gives her the perfect way to find out more about the Pierce family and to get answers she's been searching for since her father's death. If she can just fight her attraction to him while looking for those answers.

This is the second book in the series and I enjoyed it just as much as the first. I'm still very much in love with the whole family dynamics of this series and how each of siblings stories reveals a more clear picture of their past and how it's affected their adult lives. It's like slowly solving a mystery and getting the added benefit of a sexy romance to complete each piece of the puzzle.

Dalton is charismatic and sexy but he also has a sweet and vulnerable side that just needed a strong-willed, take-no-shit kind of girl like Raven to settle his heart and his mind. Their chemistry was explosive but calming all at the same time. The tension from keeping their secrets from the past was being stretched slowly with each day they spent falling for each other until it finally snapped and a floodgate of emotions was open. It broke my heart, but in true Jennifer Probst fashion she put it back together slowly and surely.

I loved everything about the slow-burn of this book and the subtle hints of what to expect from the next book in the series. I have a feeling that Tristan and Sydney are going to do their fair share of emotional damage to my heart as well.

My favorite so far in this book series is this book!

I love Dalton. Yes, he is a player and cocky, but there is something so sensitive about him beyond what meets the eye, that you cannot help but fall in love with him. It sure does not hurt that he is gorgeous and muscular, but he is also intelligent and so creative! The fact that he works with his hands creating wonderful restorations, cabinetry, etc. is even more appealing to me. I can just picture his hands... super tender and knowledgeable, warm and sensitive, and now I am HOT!

His courtship of Raven is one for the ages. She is definitely an easy catch for him. He must work for it and prove himself trustworthy and reliable.

This is a story only Jennifer Probst can write. Her stories are so tender and romantic... YES! I am in love again!

Raven was brokenhearted when her father ran off with a woman and left her behind only to be killed in a car accident, she finds out who the other woman was and vows revenge on her family for dragging her fathers name through the mud.
When she meets Dalton, the woman's son she's cold and rude sort of. but he wants her he has no idea who she really is!
This story was great I couldn't put the book down, I absolutely loved it! 5+ stars for this book!

Did I read the same book as everyone else?!?! I have to tell you, the reviews for Any Time, Any Place are fairly good. If I didn't know better, I would go one click this book. DON'T!! I have never written a review with such... I am not even sure what the words are...

I was asked to read the first book in Jennifer Probst Billionaire Builders series, Everywhere & Every Way. I enjoyed it. I was so looking forward to the next book in the series, Any Time, Any Place. When I saw that it was available on Netgalley I knew that I had to read it. WoW! Just WoW! I was actually disappointed in the book. I did not feel a connection between the characters, Dalton Pierce & Raven Stratton! Again, was I missing something?!?!

The thing is, the overall concept/ storyline of this book is fairly good. In fact, after reading Any Time, Any Place I was looking forward to it. But in the end, it just didn't work for me.

I have never written a review where I actually said to not one click a book. I feel bad for saying that. I do know that some books are for some people and so books just aren't. This book was clearly not for me. If you are a Jennifer Probst fan, go for it! Dive in and enjoy.

Any Time, Any Place, is the second title in the Billionaire Builders series. I haven't read the previous title, and didn't feel at all lost with the story line so it can be read as a standalone.

This series revolves around the three Pierce brothers, and Any Time, Any Place focuses on Dalton the youngest. Raven and Dalton's story is told in a dual point of view, it's engaging and entertaining. This is a story of loss, family and finding a happy ever after. Their story is a slow burn romance with elements of humor, steam and angst within a heartwarming story line.

Raven Hawthorne is an independent, strong and sassy heroine, just the type that I love. Raven is quite a closed off character due to her past, but the development of her character is really lovely and as the plot deepens her character opens up beautifully and we see how fragile she really is.

Dalton is a sexy, sweet and intelligent man who is good with his hands. He's an incredibly like-able, endearing character, he's very much, what you see is what you get, hard working, honest and friendly.

This pair of characters share a complicated past, one that not both of them are aware of, and they have both suffered a devastating loss, one that altered the path of both their lives. Both Raven and Dalton shared a very special bond with a parent that they lost. Their chemistry is intense and the love scenes are quite hot and steamy.

I thoroughly recommend Any Time, Any Place and look forward to the next title in this series.

Jennifer Probst has gone and done it again!! Just when I think that I can’t love her, her books or characters more, she goes and writes a book like Any Time, Any Place. This book hit my device (and heart) during the holidays and I could not clear the decks fast enough to read it. And even then it wasn’t a one and done thing – I have re-read this book again and again and again, because everything about it pulled me in like a high-powered magnet.

Dalton Pierce and Raven Stratton have a crazy, mad attraction that flares off the page. I loved their banter and how they were the other’s perfect foil. Dalton is all golden charm, while Raven is wickedly alluring. Each has their heart on lock-down from anything resembling love, but funny thing that – love has a way of burrowing its way in regardless. And it does just that in a big way.

Can I just say that I have a total crush on Raven? She is a business owner, skilled mixologist, amateur astronomer, amazing friend and just all-round badass. When you understand the events that got her to the point in her life, the respect grows exponentially. I loved not only her heart, but her loyalty to the people that she let into her life. It spoke volumes about this woman and really made me wish that she and My Place existed in real life.

Dalton Pierce is good with his hands. Pun totally intended. He is impossible not to love and beyond the golden boy looks is a man that is smart, with a passion for design that rivals that his attraction to Raven. I adored this man, not only because he was that charming, but because his heart was equally generous. Swooooooon.

At its very core, the Billionaire Builders series is about family and Jennifer is a weaving an amazing tapestry that lets us see the Pierces at their very best and at times, their very worst. No matter, these characters have found their way into my heart and setting up camp, which I am totally good with! Enjoy!!

Happy Reading!!!

This book has laughs, steam, forgiveness, healing, and second chances.

If you haven't, I works recommend you read the below first:
Everywhere and Every Way

This is Dalton and Raven's story. Raven isn't interested in the Pierce brothers, not after the news she discovered when her father died. She's content with her bar and ignoring them, even Dalton who ignites something in her she wants to push down and deny. Dalton is the youngest Pierce neither. He's interested in Raven but she wants nothing to do with him. As he tries to get close to her and break down her walls, he realizes there's more than nets the eye. Can he find a way to get Raven to take a chance on him? Will Raven let go of the past for a chance at her future?

I connected with the characters and look forward to the next in this series.

I recommend this book.

BIANCA

Raven comes across as this tough lady. But of course she's still all broken inside from her father's death and everything that happened after that. Or rather what she allowed to happen with her life after she lost her dad.
And Dalton is just the guy to heal her with his positive persona. He's so adorable. So in love with wood and he's hilarious in his flirting with Raven and fighting with his brothers. I almost fell off the couch when he said that he needs to listen to music while working - but only one kind of music - don't judge... BOYBANDS!!!! ☺☺☺☺ LOL!

I just loved this story. Those two are just perfect for each other!

They have a long way still to go until they can get their Happily Ever After, but they'll get there!!
We just hope all through the book that the fact that Raven hasn't told the Pierce brothers who she is, won't be too much for Dalton to take in the end!

And just like int he first book - the secret stars of the book were of course Cal's 2 HUGE Mastiff doggies. SOOO effing adorable!
They flunked out of military obedience school numerous times already! ☺☺☺
ANY PLACE, ANY TIME was the 2nd amazingly beautiful, moving, sexy, funny & adorable romance in this great series!
Run to your nearest amazon for your own sufer-boy-wood-whisperer! Because this one is MINE! ☺

Now I really want to read book #2.5 ... it will be about the family friend and architect Brady!!

JANEANE

ARC received for an honest review

Any Time, Any Place carries on where Everywhere and Every Way ends, but could be read as a stand alone (but would you want to miss any of the builder hotness?)

We were kind of introduced to our leading lady in the first book , but just as the fiery bartender who doesn't want a bar of our Pierce boys.

Dalton is the youngest of the Pierce tribe, still feeling a little on the outer in business with his brothers, but finally settling back in to Harrington life.

Our lovelies are connected in the most devastating way, yet neither knows it - yet. This leads to sparks and snark and unwanted lust.. or is it unwanted.

These two are both a little emotionally broken in their way. I love they way that they bring each other out of the emotional barriers they have formed around themselves. They are really quite perfect for each other - if they will let themselves be.

I love the banter between the brothers, but really, the stars of this series are Caleb's two unruly dogs, Balin and Gandalf. They had me laughing out loud with some of their antics.

All through, I just hoped that Raven and Dalton would find their way to their HEA -though it is not going to be an easy journey.

This is a sweet an sexy and at times heart breaking story, and I read it in one day, I just had to know what happened next.

Can't wait for the next installments.

I must admit I did not read the first book in the series, however, I did not feel lost in any way while reading. Though now I am going to go back and read the first book, because who does not want more Billionaire Builders/brothers?

What happens when your past and present collide? Raven and Dalton's lives are connected in such a devastating way, that has everything and noting to do with them. But it also impacts who they became as adults in a huge way.

Ravens owns a bar and finds herself in need of some renovation help. The Pierce brothers are customers and have a construction business. But the Pierce brothers are also part of a past that hurt Raven and changed her life forever.

Dalton is happy working in the family business and enjoying the ladies. Known as a ladies man, he is happy with how things are right now. Until he meets Raven. She denies his advances, which really only seem to make him want her more.

They fight their attraction, even as their chemistry is intense. But how do two broken people put the pieces back together and move forward?

This was a good book that was sweet, sexy and made my heart ache just a little bit. Their relationship was slow going, as they had many obstacles to overcome, but they do slowly overcome them. I would recommend this book.

The sexual tension was practically oozing off the pages! The chemistry was out of this world mixed with an incredibly sweet romance.

Raven has been self-destructive but now she’s working hard to put the pieces of her life back together. She becomes the owner of an antique bar called “My Place” that’s become wildly popular. Then one night, to her shock and dismay the Pierce brothers walk into her bar. One of whom is the sexy lovable Dalton and sparks ignite! I loved how feisty, stubborn and determined she was to move forward with her life.

Dalton is one of the owners of Pierce Construction and his passion is working with wood; particularly antiques. He first sets eyes on Raven when he visits her bar and he becomes obsessed; both with her and the bar! For months he tries to break down her wall even though she continually shoots him down. In Raven’s mind Dalton is the enemy by virtue of being the son of the women she feels took away her father and ruined his reputation.

Then Raven gets a call from a prominent magazine asking for an interview that could take her bar to the next level. Now she’s desperate to restore her bar before the interview. But to her great irritation she’s forced to approach Pierce Construction which means having to deal with Dalton in close quarters on a regular basis. Dalton is ecstatic when he finds out. He can’t wait to get his hands on her bar and hopefully her. LOVED. IT. Dalton’s gentle good humored charm was constantly bringing a smile to my face… Raven too even though she didn’t want to admit it! LOL

As the story unfolds it’s impossible not to become wholly invested in their characters. Raven and Dalton are forced to face their own demons as they get to know each other. By doing so they are helping each other push forward to a happier future simply by existing in the same space and finding love. It was gradual and believable.

One of the things I love about Jennifer Probst is how much depth she’s able to give her characters. Their relationships seamlessly flow and change to reflect each individual’s growth throughout the story. While I’ll have to admit this book was a bit slower paced, I don’t think the story could have been pulled off realistically any other way. It was a pleasure to read and I’d recommend it to anyone:)
