This wasn't my favorite McKenzie book but I was really looking forward to reading it after reading Fractured so I was pretty entertained by it

This book was created in a very interesting way. It is writing by one author pretending to be an author that is a character in her other book. Confused yet?! Catherine McKenzie wrote Fractured and in that book, the character Julie Apple wrote The Murder Game; this is that book.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and the twists that it took. I like that we went back and forth from the time that these friends were in law school to the present time that the trial was happening. I read Fractured first, but I think it would be better to read this book first.
