Linwood Barclay never disappoints readers and this is no exception. twisty, fact paced thriller that you cannot put down until the last page.

This is the 3rd book in the Promise Falls Trilogy and therefore should be read in order. A well written finale to an intriguing series by Linwood Barclay.

As a big fan of Linwood Barclay, The Twenty-three did not disappoint. Another thriller to keep me hooked. I wouldn't want to give away any spoilers, but if you've never read a Linwood Barclay book before, read this.

I have to admit I haven't read the other books in the trilogy, but I didn't feel I missed out and felt this was a great stand-alone book. Having said that I will be reading the first two as I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

The towns water supply has been contaminated causing many to fall ill and a number of deaths. On top of all this there is a murder to investigate.

I found the book gripped me from the start and kept me engrossed all the way through.
