This is a good book for readers who are ready for a little bit more difficult chapter book. The illustrations are cute and colorful. It will entertain any reader who likes fairies.

This is an adorable "middle reader" book. It has beautiful illustrations and stories short enough to keep kids interested. I also really love how the fonts change for certain words, bringing more interest to the page. I love that it encourages children to work together to solve problems. Great book for any fairy-loving child.

I received a copy of this from netgalley which I have been reading with my daughter at bedtimes
We loved the illustrations which really made the stories even more enjoyable, this would make a lovely gift in paperback for any child. The book comprised of multiple stories following the fairies of peaseblossom wood who each with their own talent rescue animals in need of help.
The stories were lovely and split into chapters to make it easy to split over a couple of bedtimes for each story if you wanted to.

After just the first paragraph I knew this book would be perfect for my 8 year old cousin, I am not one to stereotype books, there shouldn't be boy books and girls books but I will say that this book will appeal to many little girls and all their fairy dreams.

The book has four stories within it, and each story has four chapters each attached to a season. At the beginning of the book Rose, Berry, Star and Silk are introduced to us and their superskills. The fairies live in Peaseblossom Woods and work together as a team to use their skills of petal power, superskills and love to save, protect and care for the animals of the woods.

The book is full of happiness and fun except when the fairies hear the TIng-aling-aling of the rescue bells which saw them flying of to rescue their beloved woodland friends. The stories may seem a little repetitive to an adult but repetition for a child strengthens connections in the brain and assists with the development of confidence and mastering a skill such as problem solving that is a theme throughout the book.

The illustrations are are simplistic, but show sparkle, flair and nature and beautifully display the world of Peaseblossom Woods. I recommend this read for 7 year olds and above.
