P J Vanston is the author of several books and prize-winning short stories, including Crump (Matador, 2010). Also writing as Jem Vanston, he is the author of A Cat Called Dog (Matador, 2013) which was featured in ITV News, South Wales Evening Post, Books Monthly, Cat World and The Daily Mews. As a songwriter, he was responsible for writing the charity song Come on Wales for the European Football Championships 2016. Having been born and brought up in Kent, he now lives in Swansea.
