Space Agent and the Isles of Fire

We were closer to the Martian life than we had ever been, and every nerve in my body was screaming that we should turn away.

For almost a year, Jeremy Grant has been employed by U.N.O. in the Department for Space Investigation.

His work had been primarily concerned with the development of the moon colony as well as keeping a close eye on governments and individuals looking to make a private profit from the valuable mineral deposits in the lunar crust.

However, during the last month, Jeremy has been investigating a leakage of information in connection with Canada’s satellite programme. Scientific tests pointed to an unauthorised radio transmitter in Montreal and now he had narrowed his search down to the docks area.

All that will have to be put on hold for now…

Jeremy receives a call from New York to his hotel in Montreal. An earthquake his hit the Islas del Fuego; The Islands of Fire.

He’s flown out of Montreal to meet with a journalist from the Gazette by the name of Jock MacDonald, who’s bringing a female inhabitant from the island.

It seems there is more at play here than simply an earthquake…

The girl, Eva Jackson, describes seeing a strange object fall from the sky.

Cigar-shaped and glowing brightly red all over, this thing landed on the plateau with a tremendous crash as if it has exploded.

What could it possibly be?

And what could possibly explain this strange and potent new form of foliage that is spreading across the island, having apparently crippling effects on human physiology?

Recruiting his popular corps of assistants; Spike Stranahan, Professor van Leyden, Jock MacDonald as well as the newcomer, Eva Jackson, Jeremy sets out on an exciting action-filled mission in which he is the only hope of freeing the island of extra-terrestrial plague that seems to intwined with the island.
