Description
Set in places that harken back to the Bible - the
Kingdom of the Beast, also known as Hell; Paradise City, where Alejandro, the
protagonist, searches for lost love; and the mystical haven of Elysium – Chica
and Me, and a Girl Named Angel features the timeless conflicts of good vs.
evil and the individual vs. society, self, Nature, and fellow being. As
Alejandro searches for the human mother and her children who once loved him, he
is joined by an abandoned, street-wise Chihuahua named Chica. Along the way,
they encounter an array of humans, both good and evil, and are befriended by a
drug-addicted girl named Angel, who, like Alejandro, searches for the love she
has lost in her life, the love of family and friends, which her addiction has
all but destroyed. To find their love, the three protagonists must overcome a
man whose shadow is that of Death itself, a man whose evil is that of Satan
himself, the man known as T-Rex.
