I loved this book because to a time when times were hard and people did what they had to in order to survive. It was also about the community in a small village in Wales. A great nostalgic read.

An historical tale of romance, intrigues and smuggling in a rural community. Very enjoyable, some characters were a bit predictable, but others had unexpected sides/outcomes, which made for an intriguing read.
