I definitely recommend this trilogy. The story is unique, and I am not sure it can be compared to anything else. The characters, landscapes, and events are vivid and imaginative. Each book begins with an outstanding hook that makes you want to read more. There are unexpected twists and turns throughout the books, as well as intense battle scenes. If you are looking for a "discovery" (one of those books that can only be found in a mystical book store, hidden from unworthy readers) then this trilogy is for you. -Scott R.
