This manga gripped my heart in all the right places. I loved the art, the main character easy to relate to, the story interesting and heartfelt.

There's no real plot, just Seto and Utsumi sharing pieces of their lives with each other in the most casual way, through conversation. What I love about manga is that dialogue really drives the story and I loved reading the two of them get closer and just weld together as friends. The art in facial expressions was beautiful and there was so much atmosphere in it all.

It's different and I loved diving into their lives, being a part of the conversation somehow. The lack of direction made for casual conversation, which felt light and uplifting to me.
This was so...awesome!

I really enjoyed this manga.
The artist is really great as with character design, as with the enviroment. I really liked that.
This is not an average "slice of life", I can even say it's closer to a seinen, but not even that serious.
It's great how Katzuya made a routine conversation between 2 teenagers so interesting and catchy. There's a big load of nostalgia and comedy (japanese comedy, maybe if you are not used to read manga or watch manga you won't be able to enjoy it)
I want to read the rest of it badly.

*I was provided with an ARC of this book through Netgalley, in exchange for my honest opinion.

I loved this manga so freaking much! It is honestly one of the funniest things that I’ve read in such a long time, I literally laughed my way through the whole thing! This was a very unusual manga, as there wasn’t really much that happened, as the characters were basically just sat in front of a river the whole time, but it was still brilliant, what it lacked in action, it more than made up for in the text. It had such great banter and there was such a witty rapport, between Seto and Utsumi, that I just fell in love with both of them, although Seto was definitely the star of the show. He was so hilarious in his observations about the most random things, this boy could make anything funny, I’m sure of it! Utsumi was a much more relaxed and serious type, but he was still a delight and him and Seto together was the perfect comedy duo. Seto is full of energy and opinions, whereas Utsumi doesn’t really have much to say and so the clash of these two personalities was pure gold.

This is for sure, one of the most realistic manga’s that I’ve read, because it really was reminiscent of having the most random conversations with your friends. The boys would talk about the strangest things, like the spider in Seto’s bedroom and the idea of a ‘Bad Habits championship’, it doesn’t sound that exciting, but it was truly so entertaining. I think that the Bad Habits Championship was hands down my favourite part, I couldn’t stop laughing. Despite the cover being in colour, this was completely in black and white. I actually preferred it this way, because it allowed the writing to take center stage, as the art style was gorgeous, but also minimalistic. I can’t even express how much I enjoyed reading this, it was a very short read, but it brought me immense pleasure and I hope that you pick it up and meet two of my favourite boys!
