Born in Darkness by Julie Kenner, an intriguing novel. Well written and pulls you in right away. A young girl does protecting her sister and wakes up in a new body, told and trained as the new hero who can save the world from demons but something is not right...

I very much enjoyed this book. I liked the action and the story is very well written.

I recommend this book and I can't wait to read the next book.

I will admit that when I started this book, I thought it was going to be a mushy love story with a bit of action, and I was wrong., not about the action about the mushy part, and what a great twist that I did not see coming.
A nice light enjoyable read, have the second one already lined up to read.

To be completely honest, I read this book previously years ago when it was first published under a different name. I read so darn much and so fast, I can’t remember very much of the books I’ve read years ago, but I do remember I liked it. So, when I read the description, it didn’t seem familiar to me, but since I remember I liked it, I decided to give it a go. Wow! It was as great as I remember! The writing is terrific, the plot is unique, and I was engrossed from the minute I started it. I only have a very vague sense of remembering so it was like reading it for the first time. I am so glad I read this again (I generally don’t like rereading books because there’s just so much to read!), and I can’t wait to read the next ones. I do have to warn readers that this is a little dark but worth every second. I do highly recommend this book to fans of urban fantasy who like a tiny bit of romance! I was provided the e-book which I voluntarily reviewed.
