Description

Jack Murphy is a bitter man, his career blighted by a mistake made as a young pilot in Biafra.

Reduced to flying lethal cargoes of dubious legality, and recently released from jail in Israel, he arrives in Athens. In a chance encounter with old friend Jim Kelly, he learns of a $40 million horde of jewels stolen from Tunisian Jews by the Nazis during World War 2.

Kelly also introduces him to Caroline Quinn, a journalist who awakens old memories.

When Kelly disappears in a plane belonging to Israeli mogul Schmuel Sharansky, Murphy goes after the treasure, assisted by Caroline, following a trail through Greek islands, Malta, Cairo and the Western Desert. So begins a flight into danger with guns waving and bullets flying.

Highly recommended for fans of flying adventure.
