Another great Alex Duggins book. I love the interactions among all the characters. We see much more of Hugh Rhys in this book. A lot of his secrets are revealed in this book. There are surprises and twists and turns. The book seemed to end abruptly to me, leaving everything up in the air. Except for the very ending the writing is wonderful! I can’t wait for the next book!
I have been very happy that I found the Alex Duggins stories when I first joined NetGalley. I looked for the next one each years since. The sixth installment in Alex Duggins series we learn about Hugh Rhys background. It it's morning at the Black Dog and the staff are astonished when a smartly dressed woman as for Hugh. She refuses to give any information about herself arising the staff's curiosity. Hugh has a unwelcome visitor at his home. This visitor later disappears. The violence and twists and turns will hold your attention until the surprise ending. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND SERIES.
