Advance Praise

"Familiar mythological characters populate a creative, enjoyable story. Wheeler's story seamlessly blends Greek mythology with Biblical themes."

Kirkus Review.

"I loved Wheeler's storytelling abilities and style of writing-the distinctive 'voice' that you just can't fake....Each sentence and page is packs so much emotion and imagery that you really get a bang for you buck."

Steph Coleman; Barnes & Noble; Indie Book Reviewers.

"...I loved it. It had me hooked from beginning to end."

Jhonnie Parker; Goodreads; Barnes and Noble; Indie Book Reviewers.

"Dr. Wheeler is unarguably a very talented writer, but more than that, he genuinely impressed me with his thorough world-building and sheer creativeness and inventiveness on many levels..." "I marveled at the unexpected twist the story took with the introduction of Medusa. I was hooked. Some of the writing was downright lyrical in the simple elegance of the prose, and other times I was nearly breathless from the intensity and violent passion."

Gillian Hancock; Goodreads; Barnes & Noble; Indie Book Reviewers.

"I like that I can really lose myself in the story and with the fascinating characters that are so interesting and based on 'historical' figures we know, but in a way that makes them new and real. Wheeler's writing is very descriptive and I felt like I was inside this unique world he created. I liked that it wasn't just another formulaic vampire story or Greek myth re-telling..."

Jean Oliver; Goodreads; Barnes & Noble; Indie Book Reviewers.

"It has it all!!" "An engaging and entertaining read all through to the very end..."

5/5 stars Megan King; Goodreads; Barnes & Noble; Indie Book Reviewers.

As a lover of both religion and mythology this book was a welcome read. What if? This is the question the reader must be willing to answer and accept whatever answers might arise. It is not blasphemy just one author's take on what if Lamech killed Cain and the result was vampirism. What if Medusa's mom fell in love with the man who would ultimately kill her? My only complaint was that the book ended. I applaud the author for being brave enough to have the reader question themselves and ask, what if?

I really loved the concept of the story and had high hopes. A vampire cursed for his role in Cain's death. So many great fantasy/paranormal characters with intriguing stories.
