Great gritty read, you can feel the sand the heat the frustration. Unexpected story line. I will make time to read more of 'Eyres' books.
Only comment. I read it in two go's and got a little confused as who was who? probably my fault as I was busy in the day job. But nevertheless less worth a read!! Ideal for the hols

Thomas J Eyre presented the reader with a unique story and unique style of writing in Desert Overwatch. NO SPOILERS...but what an ending as well!! Characters were very lifelike. Story was well paced, and carries reader along just fine, and I never EVER would have suspected the ending. Set in Iraq where men form tight bonds during war, having to endure being away from families as well as having to endure being with dangerous and perilous events. Desert Overwatch was a great read. Highly recommend it!

I enjoyed this warrior action thriller. It keeps giving the toughness of the warriors and the added effects on the home front. One of the most shocking action sequences I in the field. And another shocking event upon the family when one warrior adjusts to other deep set feelings of shock he must battle at home !!!
