As the Second World War turned in favor of the Allies after D Day, Germany became sinking ship and Nazi rats started to plan ways to escape inevitable revenge at the hands of the victorious forces and partisans. What starts as an accidental wolf attack in a mall turns out to be an outbreak of rabies. A unique strain of rabies that spreads through air, water or touch. As panic grips parts of the USA, a pharmaceutical company creates a cure. A cure that is going to create more havoc than rabies.

The CDC trained veterinarian trio - Tom, Kate and Brad are assigned this case. Lakota Sioux Indian, Joseph, and French Investigators from the famous Pasteur Institute - Jean and Jules are called in too. The six are now off on a chase of a lifetime to stop the disease from spreading before it is too late.

The story is absolutely fantabulous! The characters are likeable. The suspense is well-maintained until the end. I recommend you to read book #1 before starting with this one. Though this can be read as a standalone, it is better to start from book #1 so that you will have a brief idea of the plot)

A highly recommended series!

this from the premise had me hooked, it was interesting to read and I actually enjoyed the mystery elements. The characters were great and I had a good time reading.
