Description

Yuji Itadori is resolved to save the world from cursed spirits, but he soon learns that the best way to do it is to slowly lose his humanity and become one himself!

In a world where cursed spirits feed on unsuspecting humans, fragments of the legendary and feared demon Ryomen Sukuna were lost and scattered about. Should any demon consume Sukuna’s body parts, the power they gain could destroy the world as we know it. Fortunately, there exists a mysterious school of Jujutsu Sorcerers who exist to protect the precarious existence of the living from the supernatural!

Although Yuji Itadori looks like your average teenager, his immense physical strength is something to behold! Every sports club wants him to join, but Itadori would rather hang out with the school outcasts in the Occult Research Club. One day, the club manages to get their hands on a sealed cursed object. This is a great manga and storyline. It's a different take on demons and the fact that Yuji Itadori has to eat and absorb power is pretty crazy! If you like action and demons with cool characters, you'll like this manga. I know I did. Other mangas I like that would be in a similar category are Bleach, Demon Slayer, Naruto.

When monsters attack a school a kid eats a cursed object to save them. They are going to execute him, but decide to let him go if he helps find the other cursed objects. The setup does not take long, this book is almost immediately into the action, which I love. I am a big fan of books like this and Jujutsu Kaisen did not disappoint. The monsters are creepy. The art is amazing. The story is fast paced and entertaining. I can't wait to get the rest of this series.

This was so freaking good!! I couldn’t stop reading and cannot wait to continue. Yuji had me cracking up and his reactions to eating Sukuna’s fingers were hilarious. This may seriously become a new favorite manga alongside Bleach and Tokyo Ghoul.
