A beautifully written gardening book, broken down into easy to understand terms. Get Growing is laid out perfectly into sections. The illustrations are cutesy and will appeal to all audiences. What I particularly liked were the Science projects to do with kids, as they are all feasible and will get kids of all ages interested in nature and Science. This book got me excited for gardening season, as I’ll be starting my seeds soon! Thank you to the publisher for the advance reader in exchange for my honest review.

RHS Get Growing is a wonderful book for all ages! While this book is geared towards families learning how to garden together, this book can also be used for adult learners. As both an adult learner and avid gardener, i enjoyed this book and took away information i did not know previously.

At first look, the photography and graphic design is remarkable. The imagery is playful, colorful and inspiring! Each page is designed like a modern children's book meets a photo album. Personally, i would purchase this book on the visual appeal alone! I feel imagery can really "make or break" a gardening book, and RHS Get Growing is a fantastic example of imagery done well!

Many gardening facets are covered in this book. The descriptions and explanations are simple and effective for all ages. There are many DIYs and experiments to try. Each one is simple and can be done across all ages and in most environments! The DIY projects are wonderfully suited for families, someone who provides childcare or educational services, as well as adult learners.

All in all, i would recommend this book to a large audience of learners. I have already recommended this book to a few of my friends who have children and home school. I have added this book to my wish-list for my personal gardening book library!

This was such a fun, colourful, and informative guide to plants and gardening great for kids and families, but also for everyone else who wants to be able to get something to grow. I love how it was divided into sections about different types of plants and how it was so detailed about all the different steps.

The experiments and projects are great for kids so that they can learn how best to grow these plants, vegetables, and flowers themselves and what is really happening. I also really loved the end of the book where it talks about what you can be doing in your garden every season of the year.

There are great parts of this book for everyone and I think it will be a great addition for any aspiring gardener.
