Description

Mackenzie “Kiki” Forbes finds herself in a pickle.

Either become her snarky sister’s nanny, or move halfway across the country to work as assistant-to-the-stylist of a country music star. Neither job sounds ideal, although bedazzling cowboy boots may be a hell of a lot more interesting than ironing her brother-in-law’s underwear. But life on the road as the errand coffee girl for a sold-out tour leaves much to be desired. That is, until Kiki meets her sinfully sexy new boss’s boss…

Tatum Reed’s career is flying high. He’s up for country music’s Entertainer of the Year and he’s headed out on a nationwide sold-out tour. So why does he feel like it’s all about to implode? His superstar ex-girlfriend seems determined to make his life difficult, his opening act is a handful, and the new girl on his tour, the feisty brunette, is quickly getting under his skin. In this crazy world of showbusiness Tatum needs to learn who he can trust, but that doesn’t come easily, because the one person who holds all the cards may just throw them down and walk away.

Life in the public eye is never all it’s cracked up to be, which has both Kiki and Tatum questioning what they’re really doing with their careers, and their hearts.

Mackenzie “Kiki” Forbes finds herself in a pickle.

Either become her snarky sister’s nanny, or move halfway across the country to work as assistant-to-the-stylist of a country music star. Neither...

"""This book hits all of my contemporary romance buttons: hot sex, adorable banter, a fun supporting cast, gleeful highs and heartbreaking lows. There were several moments when I wanted to smack Kiki upside the head, but love can make even the smartest among us into idiots at times, and I couldn't fault her for those moments.

Coffee Girl got this reviewer out of a weeks-long reading slump. If you've ever been in one of those, you know it takes a certain kind of read to get you out of it. This book did it for me. Five enthusiastic, rhinestone-studded stars."" -Colleen Vanderlinden"

Hitting on all the must haves of a good rock love story; steamy moments, heated conflict, sexy people, and things people do for love. I wanted just a little more but overall enjoyed this book.

This book was just.. wow! I was so captivated by Kiki and Tate’s story. ⁣

Tate is a huge country super star who has been nominated for entertainer of the year. Unfortunately, his newest single with Country Sweetheart Savannah causes him to have to cross paths with her often, even though they’ve been broken up for months. ⁣

Kiki has just been let go by the men’s fashion magazine she styles for and is unemployed. When her crazy older sister offers her a job to be her nanny, she resorts to enlisting her brother's help in finding a new job. Cam finds her a job as Tate’s stylists assistant. Kiki will take just about any job as long as it’s not for her sister. But what she doesn’t expect is Tate to be so handsome and flirty with a coffee girl like her, when he dates superstars like Savannah. ⁣

First of all, any book that has song references in it has me sold. I loved Kiki and how shy she was at first with Tate. Tate was just… YUM. Their playful banter and building romance was so good! I loved how this was a bit of a slow burn too. This book is for all the girls who feel like underdogs. You deserve that superstar love! Don’t let other women make you feel insecure, there is something special about each and every one of you! Such a great book! You will be left swooning with your heart squeezing out of your chest! ⁣

Coffee Girl is a story about Tatum and Kiki. The chemistry in this book was amazing. Tatum as a country star has to deal with an crazy ex and his tour. Kiki who recently lost her job gets a change to work as the assistant to main stylist of the band. Tatum and Kiki meet each other on tour and their chemistry is off the charts from the first moment they meet each other. In this book they deal with the highs and lows that comes with being famous. I loved the parts and the text messages between Kiki and both TJ’s!!! While the story is lighthearted and very cute, it also had a lot off steam! So Coffee Girl is clearly a must read for everyone who is searching for a steamy and fun romance.

I give this book 4 stars!

REVIEW | Coffee Girl by Sophie Sinclair
.
When Kiki finds herself unemployed, she needs to find work fast. She ends up landing a spot as the assistant to the stylist of Tatum, a swoony country star.
.
I flew through this one in a day! It kept me turning the pages and I loved the accessible writing style. It reminded me a lot of The Happy Ever After Playlist, and in a good way.
.
Notable things I liked:
⭐️The characters were fun
⭐️The adorable lyrics
⭐️Any hero described as a Paul Walker lookalike 🙌🏼
⭐️The steam level 🔥🔥
⭐️The rockstar trope- I was on the fence about this trope but now I’m starting to dig it
.
Overall, I really enjoyed this one. Thank you netgalley and Sophie Sinclair for this ARC💗

Ahhh Coffee Girl is everything. Why didn’t I read this sooner?!? @sophiesinclairauthor has a way with words that gets you hooked and keeps you locked in. ⁣

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I started this book last night around 7pm. I normally go to bed by 830, I stayed up past midnight to finish this because it was THAT good. I couldn’t get enough. ⁣

The banter between Tatum and Kiki and the conversations between TJ and Kiki had me laughing out loud. There was just enough drama, humor, and romance to make this unputdownable.⁣

Did I mention Tatums band raises money for an animal rescue in this and there is a fat cat named Oreo? I always love me a book that supports animal rescue and has fur babes; fiction or not. ⁣

Sarah was such an awesome friend to Kiki and set an amazing example of how women should lift each other up, instead of bringing them down.⁣

I cannot WAIT for her story in book two. I’m going to go crazy waiting for it til May. #bookstagram #books #romance #romcom #countrystuds

Coffee Girl was such an unexpected gem of a novel! I was so impressed with Sophie Sinclair's debut novel and cannot wait to read the rest of the series. She reminds me of Christina Lauren's earlier works, for anyone else who is a fan! Coffee Girl is about Kiki, a girl who finds herself searching for a job and ends up employed by Tatum Reed, the biggest name in country music, as the assistant stylist on his tour. Her and Tatum have an adorable meet cute that of course involves coffee, and from there on out the tensions were high between the two as they try to navigate their feelings for each other in the crazy world of celebrities. Tatum comes with a lot of baggage- his high profile ex-girlfriend is furious at him for ending things and wants revenge and is constantly around stirring up trouble for Kiki and Tatum. Kiki also is finding herself on this tour, both professionally and has she begins to fall for Tatum. I thought this book had it all! It was funny, it was witty, it felt original, and I loved reading about them being on tour. I genuinely don't have enough good things to say!

I LOVE THIS BOOK - I literally read it in one sitting - thanks to my husband refilling my tea cup.
Kiki - what a character, she is full of sass and determination, funny and loyal, but with her own insecurities that keep popping up. And Tatem - just he not just sound like sex in cowboy boots??
A Country Rock Star Romance that kept me thoroughly entertained. I cant wait to rad the next one and whatever else Sophie Sinclair has written. I love her writing style, pace and character development.
Thank you to all for my ARC - LOVED IT

The description draws you in, and the story is even better!
In my opinion, everything about this book was perfect. From the plot, to the characters, beginning to end there wasn’t a single thing that I was disappointed by.

Who wouldn’t want to join someone famous on tour, especially if that someone is a hunky country star? I sure would love it! I was SO excited when I saw Coffee Girl come up on netgalley in their Read Now section. I’ve only read good things about it!

Kiki is fired from her men’s stylist job and is offered either helping her sister and become a nanny (and yes that includes pressing her brother in laws underwear, no thank you!) or go on tour with a major country music singer. Rather than becoming a nanny, Kiki decides to go on tour, where she ends up meeting a handsome guy on her first day, as she spills coffee down her shirt. The hunk is of course none other than Tatum, the major country artist. Kiki and Tatums attraction grows, but will a relationship work when fame is on the lines?

I loved the romantic banter between Kiki and Tatum, the lyrics, real relationship problems, and so much more! Tatum is full of swoon, even if he is a little cocky, it worked for him. I also appreciated Kiki being a little self conscious, it made her so realistic!

This is Sophie Sinclair’s debut novel and it didn’t disappoint. I can’t wait to read Sarah’s story, she was such a fun character in Kikis story. If you’re a romance fan, like celebrity stories, steam and especially country music, I suggest you check out Coffee Girl!

I want to thank NetGalley and Sophie Sinclair for the ARC of Coffee Girl to read.
Kiki needs a job after losing hers. Her sister offers to hire her as a nanny for her children. Her brother says he knows of a job as an assistant to a stylist for a country singer. She takes the job and moves to Nashville.
She meets the singer in a not very pleasant way that involves a mishap with coffee she is getting for others.
The time on tour all over country brings its share of ups and downs. The chemistry between Kiki and Tatum is amazing.

The story has an amazing cast of people that you come to love and enjoy but has its share of not so nice people.
This is a fantastic debut book.

Coffee Girl and Tater Tot’s love story is one of my all time favorites! From first to the last page, from writing to the characters in it, this book was perfect and I loved every single thing about it.
I loved how funny, goofy, beyond adorable and real Kiki’s character is. I loved how thoughtful, kind and sometimes even cocky Tatum is. I couldn’t get enough of them! They were both amazing characters and I fell in love with them right from the start.
Reading those first interactions between them had me laughing like crazy. Kiki was hyperventilating every time she was around Tatum, blabbering nonsense, blushing like crazy and when they finally got together I thought my heart was going to melt from how adorable together they are. Chemistry between them was really undeniable!
I haven’t read many books with secondary characters that are equally amazing as the main ones, even those that were really mean were hilarious in their own way and made this story even more perfect for me. Kiki’s best friend TJ was hilarious, I LOVE him! Friendship between her cat Oreo and their driver Stan-too adorable! And that song Tatum has written for Kiki... Gah! I have no words!
I think I found my new favorite author and I’m so excited to read more from her.
I cannot recommend this book enough! It’s an understatement to say that I just loved it and I CAN’T wait to read Sarah and Lex’s book, The Makeup Artist, can’tcan’tcan’t wait!!

Kiki has just about given up on men, when she is trust into the world of country music star Tatum. He's totally out of her league, but she can't deny the attraction. Only she's not sure if all his flirting is just his natural charming behavior or it's true feelings. Filled with self doubt, only fueled even further when women of his past throw it in her face, Kiki has to decide if she wants to trust the star or move on before things get too involved. Plenty of up and downs. Quite a bit of humor. Some sexy times. A little swooniness. The characters are fun. Of course there are the typical 'mean girl' or two. It's a pretty fun read, though it did get redundant abit with how Kiki's character was constantly reminding us how she was a nobody and a big star like Tatum couldn't possible like her. I could have done with less of that, but otherwise it was an enjoyable read. It alternates between POVs.

I could really relate to Kiki she is just a normal girl just trying to find her way in life. The lost of her job, Kiki’s bad dating life and the love of her cat “Oreo”. If I didn’t know any better, I would have thought the book was real, with all the twists and turns I felt like I was in the moment with her and I really enjoyed it. I got to admit Touché to Sophie Sinclair those smut scenes were amazing! I went through all the emotions with this book! I didn’t want it to end!

I would give a 4 out of 5 stars. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and looking forward to the next books.

Coffee Girl was an unexpected gem for me that I couldn’t put down. For a debut novel, this was well-written and the cast of characters were so enjoyable (with a few villainous exceptions, of course!).

The book follows Kiki, a girl who finds herself employed as a styling assistant by Country music’s hottest star, Tatum Reed. She and Tatum have an adorable meet cute involving coffee, which leads us on enjoyable ride as the two navigate their feelings toward one another while touring the country. It was a fun, fast-paced storyline with a great backstage view of life on the road. I was a little put off at times by some of the interactions, but found myself laughing out loud at the banter between Coffee Girl and Tator Tot, and Kiki and her best friend TJ. Overall, I thought this was a fun, witty romcom that has me excited for Sinclair’s next book which follows the character Sarah.

Thank you to Netgalley and Sophie Sinclair for an advanced copy. This is one you won’t want to miss!

I say this alot but I don't know why I have waited so long to read this! I'm always very hesitant with trying new authors but I don't know why as this was AMAZING!
Rockstar romances are my favourite trope but this was my first based around a country music star.
Tatum is going on tour with his band and is in the process of ending things with his girlfriend of 2 years who is also a country music star.
Kiki is down on her luck atm. Shes had a string of bad dates, lost her job as a stylist for a magazine and could possibly end up losing her apartment. To add insult to injury her snooty sister had offered her a job as her nanny/housemaid/general dogs body. Kiki hate the idea of working her her sister so begs her brother to help. He gets in touch with his friend Lee who gets her a job as Tatums bands stylists assistant. Not being into country music Kiki has no idea who Tatum is and although the job is mainly getting coffees and general housekeeping jobs she takes it and moves to Nashville with the hopes of proving her worth to her boss Jess.
Ahhh Coffee Girl and Tater Tot you 2 are just 😍😍😍 the slow burn between them was great. Tatum was mesmerised by l Kiki from the off but being a star he try to fight his instincts but can't stay away. Kiki is very cautious of Tatum after all his ex is a gorgeous music star and he could have his pick of any woman. They get a lot of crossed wires at the beginning but the outcome was so worth it.
This book was everything I love in a romance, funny, steamy and dramatic without being too ott. I loved Kikis friendship with TJ and Sarah. Her chats with TJ had me in stitches especially with be text message mix up. This was such a good story I started in at midnight and stayed up till 3am I didn't want to put it down and for me that's the sign of great read. I was so absorbed in it I didn't want to stop. The characters were well written and I loved Kikis sass and Tatums confidence and charm. I wouldn't hesitate to read anything by Sophie Sinclair again and can't wait to read the next installment with Sarah and Lex

Wow! I could not put down this book. Kiki down on her luck gets a chance to get her foot back into the door of the fashion industry and not only that she finds love when she least expects it. The writing was very captivating and left you wanting more. I can't wait to read the next book.

Kiki has a choice to make after losing her job, become a nanny for her annoying sister or go on tour with a country band as a stylist! She chooses the latter and falls for the lead singer Tatum. The story comes from both Kiki and Tatums perspective and kept me turning page after page. This light hearted romance is thoroughly enjoyable, and I would recommend. Thank you to net galley for the read.

I saw this title by chance on NetGalley and read the description. It sounded like a fun read and it certainly was. I read it in 1 sitting. I can’t believe it is the authors first novel. It was excellent all the way through. All the characters were really well written and although the storyline was a bit far fetched it was a really great read. I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like about the story and I am really looking forward to read Sarah’s story which I believe is out soon.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for allowing me to read the novel.

Full of beautiful people, hot characters and steamy sex scenes to make you blush I breezed through this one in a day.

Thoroughly recommend anytime you are looking for some carefree escapism.

This was a fun (and funny) romance between two people from very different backgrounds. Tatum, the famous country superstar and Kiki, a girl taking a much needed job on Tatum’s tour have great Chemistry. As they begin to develop feelings for each other, things keep getting in the way of their happiness - ex girlfriends, crazy fans and the press to sabotage their relationship. Can they ever make it work? I also loved the other characters, TJ and Sarah. Can’t wait to read Sarah’s story!

Kiki is out of a job and has no place to live when her brother helps her find a new job styling a country star on his tour. Tatum (said country star) is fresh out of a “relationship” that he was faking for the tabloids when he runs into Kiki and sparks fly. Can they avoid the mutual attraction and work together in close quarters on the tour?

This book was so cute! The characters were funny and enjoyable, the plot moved at a nice pace, and the resolution was happy. What more could you ask for in a rom com?! There was quite a bit of steam in the middle there (almost too much for me, TBH) but I enjoyed everything else so much that I didn’t mind! I am excited for the second book in the series and will definitely check it out. I’m so glad a friend recommended this one to me!

Who wouldn't want to fall with Tatum?

It has been a while since I have been this enchanted by a contemporary romance. I was seriously not expecting to love this as much as I did. I must say, I might be completely enamored with Sophie Sinclair at the moment.

Coffee Girl was funny, sometimes laugh out loud (unintentionally) so. Which, wouldn't have been a problem if I hadn't been mainlining this book until 4 in the morning. (It was rather pathetic really. I had realized I was coming up on my husband's time to get up but I was so desperately enchanted by the book. So I augmented all my screen settings so I could finish it in the dark as to not get another harumph about the damn light being on and reading so late blah,blah,blah...)

I needed this book in my life. It was sweet and funny and just all the things you need when you need a bit of sunshine in your day. I sometimes have mixed feelings about rock star books, let alone Country rock stars but... this was good. I LOVED that the author included the song lyrics being dabbled or sung or previously written... gah, some of them were a bit tear-inducing (maybe I'm just particularly susceptible right now, who knows). I'm not particularly a teary, swoony person but sometimes you just the 1, 2 punch right at the precise moment and BAM... So... that totally, maybe happened for me here. The steam was oh, so steamy and the swoon (unfortunately for my street cred) sort-of happened.

I loved the side characters and so hope we get more from the band members and/or the other secondary characters (Kiki's brother, her bestie TJ, Sarah, Jess, etc...). Ohh, or they all get meshed together. YES! That would be awesome! I think my dreams are going to come true with the next in the series "The Makeup Artist". Yay! SOOOO excited for that one!

I definitely recommend for those looking for a little sunshiney, yummy, and fun romance pick me up!

Oh my gosh this book! Sophie Sinclair takes a common storyline and brings it to a whole new level. Kiki and Tatum are amazing lead characters in a book that keeps you interested from cover to cover. Tatum is at the top of his game in the country music world, Kiki Is just getting started again after getting fired from her job at a magazine. She takes a job as an assistant to the stylist on Tatum‘s tour. The chemistry between Tatum and Kiki is off the charts from the beginning. I cannot recommend this book more highly I enjoy every bit of it and I have already pre-ordered the second book, The make up artist. It doesn’t come out until May 1, and I cannot wait!

The synopsis of this book immediately drew me in. A singer/songwriter falls for a commoner. Sign me up! The characters were well developed. I enjoyed the cockiness that Tatum had as well as the down to earth vibe that Kiki brought. Initially, I was a bit concerned that the relationship that was developing was merely physical attraction, and boy was it a bit steamy at times.

I was pleased as I continued in the story that their emotional aspect was evolving as well. This was fast-paced and at times witty. I enjoyed the secondary characters in this novel a great deal as well. This was my first book of Sophie Sinclairs. I will definitely be looking for more of her work.

Thank you @netgalley and BookGoSocial for an opportunity to read an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book follows the life of Kiki, who after being let go gets a job as an assistant stylist of the major country star Tatum. Their connection is instant and they quickly become 'Coffee Girl' and 'Tater Tot'. There are a lot of complications and ups and downs when it comes to falling in love with a super star. This is a good read, it has some very entertaining parts and some parts that were so embarrassing for the characters that I had to actually put my kindle down. Overall it was a great book, the only criticism would be the front cover, if it wasn't recommended to me by a friend it isn't something I would have picked up myself.

Do you ever have one of those days? When nothing ever goes quite right? And you spill coffee over your interview clothes? [or worse - think red on white trousers ].
Well our intrepid heroine has a bad day - or two in this book and earns the nickname Coffee Girl due to her spillage.
I have to say though, I’ve never heard of such complicated orders as some people give for coffee - ‘large skinny Latte, with extra foam, light swirl of caramel, hint of shaken salt, 2.5 pumps of vanilla, splash of extra hot water, 1.5 packets of splenda’.
You have to wonder how many different combinations of all these items they had been through to be so specific.
And I love Oreo and do understand why he is a house cat. Maine Coons are often kept indoors as they are often stolen, but I’d rather have one who could go outside. I looked at the rescue sites for a Maine Coon and a Norwegian Forest cat as we may get another cat soon, and they both say must be kept indoors. So despite my love of these breeds, I shan’t be getting one.
Overall this was a sweet story with the usual ups and downs of the genre and some reality about just how uncomfortable it can be touring with a rock band. That said, the lyrics never make a lot of sense to me and country music is always heart break and sad songs so not my scene at all.

Coffee Girl by Sophie Sinclair

When 26 year old Kiki if fired from her job as a stylist at a men's fashion magazine and is offered the position of nanny by her 'oh so perfect' sister and family she can think of nothing worse. To avoid playing house she chooses to up sticks and move to Nashville where she takes the job of assistant stylist to up and coming country star Tatum Reed.
Tatum Reed is the heart throb of Nashville with a singing career that is going places. After having broken up with his long term fellow singer girlfriend Savannah Edwards Tatum is feeling lost and unlucky in love, until he meets his Coffee Girl.
While on tour Kiki and Tatum's friendship blossoms into a steamy relationship with plenty of ups and downs along the way.

Coffee Girl was a fab little read. The story line had me teary with laughter, smiling and cringing in all the right places, it's a perfect example of romantic literature. We've all definitely fantasized about dating a famous rock star! I read this on a whim because I wasn't in the mood to read the books I already had, I'm very glad I did and I'd definitely be interested in reading more from Sophie Sinclair.

Oh the steam!!
Kiki has just been payed off. And he only prospect is to be the nanny and housekeeper for her sister, who is nothing less than a micromanaging show off. So when the opportunity to be an assistant stylist to a country music star, there is nothing to hold her back. While her first impression wasn't what she had hoped for, Tatum finds her endearing. And so begins the romance of a country superstar and the girl he can't get enough of.
I loved the way Tatum was so understanding of Kiki not being used to the lime light. He didn't get frustrated with her feeling insecure. He wasn't afraid to spell out his emotions. He oozed sexiness. I liked the back and forth points of view.
I don't really care for Kiki's nickname, it makes her sound like a little kid. I think she would be more of a Mac, to suit her tomboy childhood. I felt like she did have the same insecure argument with herself, but I did notice she saw this in herself and was really trying to work on it.
Sarah was a wonderful supportive character and I found her honesty and friendship inspiring.
And again I say, the steam!!

As a country music lover I was excited to read a romance featuring a country music star and I was not disappointed. A lot of the book was set in Nashville and I enjoyed the quick shoutouts Sophie Sinclair gave to The Ryman and The Opry. I thought Sinclair’s choice to write a scene set in the legendary Bluebird Cafe was a brilliant way to wrap up the story while honouring the Nashville music scene.

Main character Kiki loses her job and needs to find something new quickly if she wants to avoid having to work as a nanny/maid/personal slave for her social climbing sister. Luckily her brother is friends with country music star Tatum’s manager and helps her land a job as assistant to the band’s stylist. Kiki was an easy main character to relate to. As a professional she knows her worth and works hard to prove herself to her new boss. She had personal insecurities but, with the help of her friend Sarah, didn’t let them get the best of her.

Tatum was the perfect love interest and the banter between him and Kiki had me smiling throughout the book. It’s not all smooth sailing for the pair thanks to Tatum’s ex-girlfriend and another character both trying to manipulate Tatum for their own gain but don’t worry there is a happy ending!

What I enjoyed most about this book was the way Sinclair incorporated country music throughout the entire story. When Tatum and Kiki first start getting to know each other they play their favourite songs and this really helped drive home that music is Tatum’s passion and that this is the world Kiki has landed in. If you know the songs or are able to look them up while reading it brings so much depth the scene. I also liked that these moments mentioned lesser known songs like Devin Dawson’s ‘Dark Horse’ rather than only choosing from very well known artists. Don’t worry though - the big names are in there too!

My favourite supporting character was Sarah. She is working as a makeup artist on the tour and quickly becomes friends with Kiki. She shows Kiki the ropes and gives great advice while encouraging her to have fun on tour. Sarah’s story ‘The Makeup Artist’ will be released on the 1st May 2020 and I’m excited to see more of her and handsome band member Lex!

Wow! Coffee Girl entered my life entirely unexpectedly, just like Kiki Forbes did for Tatum Reed. This book earns all the stars from me. I am a huge country music fan, and this book filled a fantasy I didn't even know I was craving. This hilarious and romantic story took me backstage and provided a glimpse of the drama and struggles of life tours on the road. Once I started this book, I was hooked and couldn't stop reading! I fell in love with all the characters and wish they could be my friends in real life. I didn't want this story to end. Now I cannot wait to read the next book, The Makeup Artist by Sophie Sinclair, and continue this adventure or music and love. #CoffeeGirl #NetGalley

Coffee Girl was everything I wanted in a contemporary romance. It was so well written, with strong characters and a great story arch. I thought Kiki was so relatable, as a woman in her 20s trying to figure out her life. She's career focused, but also doesn't shy away from a chance at love. Tatum was a mix of adorably cocky and down to earth about the things that truly matter. He values relationships over fame, which was nice to see in the hero, especially one who was such a famous heartthrob. I enjoyed the pacing of this book, and thought the conflict was reasonable and the resolution was so satisfying. It definitely had the perfect ending!

This book was lighthearted and easy to follow. The lead girl (Kiki) is headstrong and doesn’t easily give into the guy (Tatum). Both were strong characters and likeable. I liked that it was from the perspective of both of the lead characters.
The country music theme was different but I did find it parts it dragged a little and was predictable. I would like to see what happens to Lex and Sarah.

I thoroughly enjoyed being in Tatum and Kiki's world. How cool would it be to be on tour with a famous singer? This is Kiki's life, assistant stylist to Tatum, the country's biggest country music star. Throw in a solid love story, some steamy scenes, an ex wanting revenge and fabulous best friends - what more could you want in a book?  Funny, cute and entertaining, I can't wait to read book 2 in the series!!

WOW! This book took me all of 4 hours to read and I loved every second of it. love the enemies to lovers and books set in the music industry, they are so fun and keep me interested.
.
I loved Kiki’s family dynamic! Her relationship with her brother is adorable and he’s so protective of her. Her sister is so crazy and controlling and I couldn’t stop laughing during her scenes with her because of how ridiculous she is. Kiki’s friendship with Sarah, the makeup artist (there is a book coming out about her next..fireworks) is so sweet and I’m so glad they were there for each other. And Tate…he is dreamy and so sweet to Kiki and I loved so much about him (add heart eyes) There is lots of steam in this book btw!
.
I can not say enough amazing things about this book and can't wait to read more by this author!!

This was surprisingly good, Kiki and Tatum were likeable and realistic characters. Kik's best friend and Sarah were also well written characters. Can't wait to read about Sarah and hopefully Lex.
Would recommend for anyone that likes romance with a music star.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the advance read, I voluntarily read and reviewed all opions are my own.

I would recommend Coffee Girl by Sophie Sinclair to any romance book lover. My friends have been recommending this book to me for months and they were completely right. I have to say that at first I was unsure about this book going in because I am not typically a fan of "rock star romance" books, but this book was really well done. I really connected to the main charter, Kiki. Her story, personality and feelings were very relatable. The only negative thing I could say is that it ended too quickly and I wanted more in the end. I was excited to find out that I read it just in time to read it's sequel, "The Makeup Artist"!

This book was so adorable. I finished it in one sitting. The characters were so funny, I love me some good banter! Sometimes I get annoyed with the whole "I'm out of so and so's league" thing, but I get where kiki was coming from. Her and Tatum were so cute! This was a feel good book and I loved it.

4.5 ⭐️

Fired from her men’s stylist job in her hometown of San Francisco, Kiki lands a styling assistant gig to a popular country band and moves to Nashville. She bumps into a sexy man at the coffee shop, spilling coffee all over herself, only later to find out was Tatum—the lead singer of said popular country band. The undeniable attraction grows tension, but would the fame and business rise above the love and relationship? Or vice versa?

I love me celebrity romances, especially when it’s between a male celebrity and an ordinary heroine (i.e. Waiting for Tom Hanks, The HEA Playlist, Simply Starstruck)! And, Coffee Girl brought on hilarious dialogue, fun characters, a swoony male lead, and a healthy side of steam. I enjoyed all the tension, the build-up, and how the story was executed. Because I loved You’d Be Mine, gotta love it when there are country song lyrics included!

This was such a cute & steamy read! I loved the characters and the storyline! I think I always love when superstars fall for the normal girl/guy in stories! Definitely looking forward to the next book in this series!!

Coffee Girl is an entertaining and satisfying story about the country music industry.
I love stories about musicians and life on the road, so this was a perfect read.

This story is about Tatum, country music's hottest star. He is a big flirt and he is also sexy, charming and an all around nice guy. Tatum has had to make many sacrifices for his fame and sometimes, he wonders if it is all worth it.

After losing her job as a stylist for a magazine, Kiki has no choice but to take a job as an assistant to Tatum’s stylist. It is a demotion, but Kiki has bills to pay and no other job offers on the horizon. Kiki has no interest in county music and no idea who Tatum is when she first meets him.

Tatum and Kiki are immediately attracted to each other but it seems one thing or another keeps them apart. I liked these two together and hoped they would work things out. This is an Intoxicating love story with great dynamics between the characters. I enjoyed the behind the scenes look at the music industry and what life on the road is really like.

An enjoyable and entertaining read:
I don't usually go for celebrity music stories but thankfully this was more than just a groupie fan falling for the star. There were plenty of misunderstandings and challenges to overcome, not least of which was the fact that Tatum was Kiki's boss and hence off limits. You could really feel their connection and their journey came across as real and authentic.
I enjoyed the humor and banter. There was also tons of drama and I didn't care for all of the back stabbing, but sadly I guess it goes with the territory. What I did really enjoy was the epilogue and post epilogue and appreciated that the author took the time to wrap things up and set the stage for the remainder of the series. I already have the next book lined up and can't wait to see what happens next with this group of friends.

Received as an ARC from netgalley for an honest opinion and review. Kiki has just lost her job, and has been down on her luck with her recent dates. After her older sister offers her a cringe worthy job as a nanny and almost personal slave for very little money she reaches out to her brother for help. Her brothet helps her get a job as an second assistant/coffee/errand girl for a country singer on tour. While the tour is starting out the sparks between her and the lead singer fly!

This was a quick, cute, and light read. Just what I needed after all the heavy stuff I seemed to have picked up lately. I liked the main characters and the authors writing. Will definitely read the next one in the series.

Coffee Girl is a deliciously steamy story set within the rhine stone studied world of country music, The characters are strong and instantly likeable. Coffee Girl is a book that sweeps you off your feet.

Kiki is currently unemployed and needs to make a decision, become her sister’s nanny or move halfway across country to work as an stylist of a country music star. Life on the road leaves much to be desired until she meets her sexy new boss. Tatum’s career is flying high, but he feels like his life is about to implode, his ex-girlfriend is determined to make his life difficult, his opening act is a handful and the new girl is quickly getting under his skin.

This sweet and funny story was amazing, it was sexy, easy to read and made me laugh out loud. It’s a perfect read for these days and there’s already a second book in this series that I can’t wait to start.

Coffee Girl | Sophie Sinclair

RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

REVIEW: WOW! I honestly did not expect to love LOVE this book as much as I did!!! I literally stayed up until 4am because i COULD NOT STOP READING!!! Tate and Kiki were insanely fun to read, I was invested in all the characters, and there was major laugh out loud moments as well as sweet and super sexy! Read this when you want a bingeworthy, sweet, steamy romance that gives you all the feels! Gotta go read book 2 now!

Thank you @brittvan1 for this amazing rec! 💗

Mackenzie Leigh Forbes or Kiki is a stylist at a fashion magazine called Cufflinks. She is fired from her job after their company is acquired by another one. She has two options in hand either to become a nanny to her arrogant and snobby sister or to work as an assistant to the stylist of a country-rock star Tatum Reed and she chooses the latter. The sparks ignite as the two of them get close while working together.

First of all this book was really good. I loved Kiki’s friendship with Sarah and TJ, Her sarcastic interaction with her elder sister, and how supporting her elder brother is to her. Tatum’s bond with his best friend Lex Ryan the lead guitarist in his band. Kiki and Tatum were awesome.

In all this is a very enjoyable book. I recommend this book to all the fans of contemporary romance. There are great characters, lovely story, vamps, and drama. I liked the writing style. Thank you @netgalley for the digital copy.

Really enjoyed this book.

The banter between the two main characters is great and often hilarious. The characters are likeable but not predictable.

Not quite as hot and steamy as I thought it was going to be but a great easy Summer/holiday read.

**Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for giving me early access to this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book had me cringing and laughing at the same time. It was sweet, funny and sexy and I want my own Tatum Reed. He and Kiki were hilarious and had a great friendship to go along with all that hot chemistry. Can't wait to read the next one in the series.

What an easy read to fill my country-bumpkin heart with a laugh and some romance. If you're in the mood for a lighthearted, predictable romcom-type-of-book, this is the one for you.

I have to say that timing is everything for reading a book, so when picked this one up some time ago, it was just what I needed and I appreciate the time I spent engaging in such a story.

Thank you Sophie Sinclair, BooksGoSocial and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for my honest review. Always so grateful for the opportunity to read complimentary books!

Coffee Girl by Sophie Sinclair a five-star read you need to throw yourself at. What a read, I have avoided Rockstar romance of late as it just felt a little overdone, but I picked this up just as I love coffee and the title sounded cool, I am so glad I did, honestly I cant wait to get my teeth into number two and to start stalking this new to me author. This just made me smile so hard, and it was exactly what I needed at the time I picked it up, It dropped to my kindle at lunch time and I snuck a few pages in while I finished work, then started it the moment I finished, one positive of lockdown no commute so more reading time, I finished this that night and I was sad that it was over. I felt bereft that I wouldn’t see Tatum and Kiki his coffee girl, or any of the band members and the team again, as at that point I didn’t realise there was going to be a second story, I was just a hopeful reader. Its rare that I fall this deeply for an author new to me, I usually enjoy a first novel and then get deeper with the more I read, but I don’t know Sophie Sinclair just wowed me with her words and the depth she created in the characters even the most shallow of Rockstar’s, I cant wait to hear more about.

Coffee Girl is one of my new favorite romantic comedies. I loved that this incorporated the world of fashion while still keeping it humble and rugged by having the main character be a country music star. The setting, characters, and plot were well developed. Overall, SInclair is now an auto-buy author for me. I start The Make Up Artist immediately because I couldn't wait to read the sequel.

This is a sweet lighthearted novel.
The story predominately follows Kiki Forbes, a young woman who becomes the assistant to an assistant after losing her job in a merger. Her new boss's boss is hunky country music star Tatum Reed, who's at the pinnacle of his career but being dragged down by his ex-girlfriend. Attraction, awkward moment, misunderstanding and lots of flirting ensure.
For lovers of a sweet romance and country music I'd say this book is a must.

Coffee girl was an enjoyable read that I looked forward to “picking up” each day. Yes, it is a very common theme found in romance novels but it did not contain those super cringe worthy moments like some titles I’ve come across.

This is a whirlwind romance between a young boss and a newer employee. They cross paths in a funny (omg) scenario and have so much chemistry that you’re waiting on the moment they end up together. Of course there are some obstacles along the way they are eventually able to overcome.

I would definitely read this again and am looking forward to the second book in the series about Sarah and Lex in the Makeup Artist.

Kiki is at an uncertain time in life. She’s just lost her job as a stylist at a men’s magazine. Her job options are not good but her brother has a connection to country tour. Tatum is an up and country music star with a crazy ex-girlfriend. Kiki and Tatum bump into each other and their attraction grows from there.

I connected with both of these characters and loved their story. For me, this book is well written. Looking back at this read, I didn’t have any moments that took me out of the story. There were characters I liked and those I didn't. There are several characters that I would like to know more.

Loved this book, mad me laugh out loud several times, who doesn't enjoy a fun love story, easy reading - great book x

This rockstar romance was all I hoped it would be.

Kiki and Tatum have an instant connection but try to deny it, but sometimes the spark is too much to refuse.

Kiki is such a likable character and Tatum is sexy, sweet, and swoony! What more could you ask for with characters and a story? I know....laugh out loud moments, a snarky best friend, sassy and funny bandmates!

Coffee Girl was a quick, easy fun read!

I couldn't put this one down. Kiki has two choices, be her sister's nanny (which comes with a 60 page employee manual) or join her friend on the road with up and coming country superstar. Fortunately, she did not go to work for her sister. Life in the fish bowl is realistically portrayed, and the struggle to let go of nasty social media posts is real. Throw in his crazy, self absorbed ex and a pushy manager and you have everything you need to keep you entertained. I already downloaded the second book in the series. Well written.

This was an absolute #bookstagrammademereadit book! And I’m so happy that I did!!

This hit all the cute, romance, sweet buttons with just the right amount of steam!

Kiki just lost her job as a stylist when she lands a job as assistant to the assistant of the hottest country star in the busy. She despises country music, but is awesome at her job- if she can convince her boss to do anything other than coffee runs.

When she lays eyes on super hunky Tatum James, she isn’t sure if she can wipe the drool fast enough. He immediately nicknames her Coffee Girl once she spills coffee and is speechless over his charms.

Is it possible for a super star and a Coffee Girl to become more than just friends??

Kiki gets fired from her job as a men’s stylist. She has two options, either work as a nanny for her sister or go on tour with a major country singer, to be an assistant to his stylist. Kiki decides she is going to go on tour! While getting coffee on her first day, she runs (literally) into a handsome man, and spills her coffee all over him. He turns out to be, none other than, Tatum, the major country singer. There is an undeniable attraction between the two. But, can they have a relationship when there is fame on the line?

Oh my goodness, I wish I read this book sooner. I absolutely loved it! This book had it all, a slow burn romance, steam, and some amazing characters. Oh and not to mention, country music! I hadn’t read a book based around a country singer prior to this, but I absolutely loved it! I loved the banter between Kiki and Tatum, the hilarious dialogue, the music, and their real relationship problems. If you’re looking for a good rockstar romance, I would highly recommend this one!

Thank you Netgalley for this eARC in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely loved this book. It had so many good music references throughout the book. I also love pet names and that the whole premise of this book revolves around “coffee girl”, the nickname given to the main female character. It did a really good job of creating a relationship you could root for! I’m really excited to read the sequel, The Makeup Artist.

This is my first Sophie Sinclair book, but it won't be my last. In fact, I've already downloaded book 2 (The Makeup Artist) and I'm about to dive into it.

I really enjoyed this story as can be evidenced by the fact that I read it all in one sitting. This is the story of Tatum and Kiki. Tatum is this year's hottest country star and Kiki has just been named his assistant to his stylist (after losing her 5 year stylist job at a men's magazine). The first time he ever sees Kiki, she is holding a tray full of coffees and she has coffee spilled all over her shirt and her shoes. Tatum doesn't know her name so he affectionately calls her "Coffee Girl".

Fast forward a few days when she finally meets Tatum for the first time and she is stunned to see it is the same guy who commented on her carrying the coffee. She is not a country fan so she had no idea who he was or what he looked like before she met him. But to say she is intrigued with him is an understatement. The chemistry between them is off the charts. But can they really make a go of this relationship? They are from two different worlds - hers is normal and his is rock-star status; he has women throwing themselves at him all day long; he just broke up with his multi-year rockstar girlfriend, etc. This is a fun and sweet story and I can't wait to read book 2 about her friend, Sarah.

I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.

What can I say about this book? It involves some of my most favorite things- coffee, country music, a man that knows what he wants, and a girl that is willing to give him a run for his money.

Kiki Forbes is the girl that you want on your side through life. She has her moments of uncertainty and/or doubt, but who doesn't?! And she consistently redeems her shortcomings with the most genuine love of her family and friends, always looking to find the best in the situation.

Tatum Reed, although a bit moody and broody at first, is the All-American boy that drives all the ladies wild. He's got the voice, the moves, and the heart to charm them all. But he's gonna have to work extra hard to convince Kiki it's not just all fun and games, and his intentions are real.

For this being Sophie's debut novel, I have to say GOOD LAWD, thank you and keep 'em coming!!

This book is BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN!! There were several moments when I wanted to smack Kiki upside the head, but love can make even the smartest among us into idiots at times, and I couldn’t fault her for those moments. I also loved Sophie’s writing.

This book was recommended by a friend, who said I would love it, she was right. This is a quick read with great banter. Kiki has some bad luck in the dating and job department. Enter new boss and country star Tatum. Even with the obvious sparks, a few misunderstandings Kiki still gives him a run for his money. Kiki’s character was well written sassy and strong, and everyone needs a TJ, just don’t let him set you up on a date!

I loved this book! Kiki, a totally normal girl, starts working as a stylist assistant for Tatum, a country music super star. I love country music and as a girl from the south, love all the Nashville scenes. There are so many laugh out loud scenes in this book! It’s a heart warming story with fun loving characters that you shouldn’t miss!

Wow, I loved this story between Kiki, stylist, and Tatum, country music star. Watching them unexpectedly falling in love with each other was so sweet to watch and I found myself smiling as if I was watching real life friends come together. Although the story was predictable, their chemistry was fantastic and the last quarter of the book took me through so many emotions, I couldn’t put it down! I loved the background characters and I’m so excited to read more stories in this universe. It was like a grown-up version of When It’s Real and You’d Be Mine.

This is the first book by Sophie Sinclair that I have had the pleasure to have read, and am now furiously searching for more...
I have never been exposed to the world of country music and I found it fascinating, looked up all the songs and really had fun getting into the story of Kiki and her exploits, I laughed and chuckled my way along, I enjoyed the pretty steamy sex scenes, all in all, it was so relatable, I could totally see myself in her shoes.
It was very well written and the plot was well-thought out., this lady knows her way around the alphabet :)
so a super five stars from me.

A modern day adult Cinderella story to enjoy during a lazy day of reading! She's just a regular girl try to get ahead in the world and he's a country music superstar, the rest is the ups and downs of falling in love with anyone living in a glass bubble. The story is well written and the characters are well fleshed out to evoke even more reaction to the story line. Add in excellent wit and humor to make for the perfect entertaining read! I'm intrigued to read more from this author as I quite like the characters she creates and the witty banter that ensues.

I am beyond glad I did.
This👏🏻book👏🏻is👏🏻everything👏🏻.

I am so in love with this book, come on open up your hands because I will push it into your hands. Must read.

Kiki and Tatum ❤️❤️

Every character in this book are developed so well that I want a love story for so many of them!! Let’s start with Kiki’s and her best friend TJ. Their sass and banter towards each other had me cackling pages into this book.

Then get introduced to Kiki’s sister, a celebrity Instagrammer who doesn’t actually have that perfect insta-life and then too her amazing brother Cam. I hope we get a Cam story!!! Kiki is needing a fresh start after being laid off In the fashion industry and helps gets Kiki a job as a fashion assistant on a country musicians tour - que Tatum.

Alright ladies - <fanning self think of Tatum> you know that cliché saying ‘ save a horse ride a cowboy?’ Boy does this ever apply in this instance. Ooooooo Tatum I ship you real hard... anywho..... Tatum and Kiki do their thing and have an whirlwind romance. Beyond amazing and relatable!

Kiki has an amazing moment with her tour bestie Sarah ( the makeup artist) in which Sarah gives Kiki the biggest pep talk about not comparing her self to these other ‘perfect’ women that were in Tatum‘s life. This part had me in tears - Kiki has always had guy friends and I totally empathize with that- guy friendships have always been so much easier for me. How many of you have compared yourself to another woman or had a woman take you down when we should be lifting each other up? Unfortunately, I can account for that happening way too often to me.

Why are you still reading my raving review and why haven’t you bought/or borrowed (kindle unlimited) this book? I have already bought both books in this series and sent to a good friend bc I am a book dealer and this ‘drug’ is going to make me a lot of ‘money’ in my makes the best book recommendations expertise.

I hate to admit it, but I was hesitant to read this book. Not that I have anything against the writer; I've never read any of her books before and like to check out many different authors. Mainly, I hesitated because I'm not really a country music fan, and didn't think I could relate to a story built around a country music superstar singer.

Wow, was I wrong! The writer, Sophie Sinclair, has changed my mind about country music (and taught me I need to be a little more open-minded in the future!) <smile>

This is a story about Mackenzie--nicknamed KiKi and Tatum. Kiki was a stylist in Los Angeles but was downsized. She lands a temporary job as an assistant stylist for the country music superstar singer Tatum and his band while they go on tour. She immediately feels an attraction for Tatum. He shows an interest in her, too, but despite this, Kiki won't let herself believe that there could be anything between them, especially since Tatum has a long time girlfriend named Savannah who is also a country music singer. Yet things aren't always as the media make them seem, especially when it comes to celebrity relationships, as Kiki learns.

I also loved one of the secondary characters -- Kiki's best friend TJ. He's such a hoot!

I loved Sinclair's writing style in this book. She used humor, circumstances and timing to keep me turning the page and wanting more. I especially loved the dialogue between Kiki and Tatum. Their bantering kept me laughing throughout the book. Sinclair fully developed the relationship between Kiki and Tatum, and I finished the book feeling like the story came to its natural conclusion. (Lately, I've been reading a lot of books where the author has rushed the ending, and I finish thinking "Wait? Is that all there is? Shouldn't there be something more?")

I enjoyed this book so much that I'm now diving into the second book in the series, "The Makeup Artist." Can't wait to read about the adventures of one of Tatum's bandmates -- Lex -- and Kiki's friend Sarah.

Go check it out--a great book! And like me, you might find that you are now creating a playlist of country music!

Thank you to Netgalley and BooksGoSocial for the eARC of this book in exchange for an honest opinion. Rockstar romances are outside of my usual genre but this one really appealed to me. I craved a light, romantic book with a touch of humour and my goodness did this book nail it. This is a really engrossing and humorous romance centring around Kiki Forbes and Tatum Reed, but with some fantastic side characters. It is well written and not what I was expecting at all and took me completely by surprise. I became completely enveloped and lost in this wonderful love story. There is a great balance of romance, drama and comedy which makes the whole story so engaging.

Tatum is a self-conscious ordinary down to earth girl. She is witty and beautiful and is completely unaware of her looks. Tatum on the other hand is cocky, confident and flirtatious. This opposing personality dynamic as well as ordinary girl/celebrity works so well and I loved it. Their interactions with one another are brilliantly executed and I loved the fun and flirtatious banter. The text messaging is absolutely adorable as is the slow build up to their romance. It leads us from the initial meet where Kiki is soaked with coffee, and completely unaware of who she has just met, to the beautiful and heart-warming final scene. There are some wonderful moments in between, I loved the evening they spent together on her bed chatting, listening to music and getting to know one another and the ‘leather trouser’ scene later in the book had me in hysterics. Their nick names for each other, Coffee Girl and Tater Tots, squeezed my heart. The chemistry between these two literally sizzled off the page and there is absolutely no denying their attraction.

The side characters, such as Sarah, Lex and TJ, were also well portrayed and so likeable. I adored Tatum’s gay friend TJ, and some of the conversations and text messaging between them are hilarious.

A light-hearted and compelling read which I could not put down. This is the perfect wind-down summer read (be prepared though, there are one or two steamy scenes!) I really enjoyed this author’s writing style, the fast pace and the witty dialogue and I’ve immediately picked up The Makeup Artist which follows Kiki’s best friend Sarah and Lex, another member of the band.

☕☕☕ #CoffeeGirl by @sophiesinclairauthor is everything you want a contemporary romance to be: a fun, sexy romp that transports you into the world of the romantic leads. The chemistry between Kiki and Tatum was particularly well-written, and I found myself literally smiling at my Kindle reading their charming back-and-forth. (I looked very cool and not insane at all, I’m sure.) I also thought the backdrop of life on tour was interesting and added additional dimension to this engaging love story.

SYNOPSIS: Single, broke and unemployed, Kiki moves cross-country to take a job as a stylist’s assistant to a major country music star—who also happens to be the hottest man she’s ever seen! The two have immediate chemistry, but will miscommunication and the drawbacks of celebrity come between them?

RECOMMEND (Y/N)? Yes! If romances are your jam, this is a fun, first-of-a-series by an indie author. Recommended for fans of Christina Lauren. Even better, Coffee Girl and its follow-up, The Makeup Artist, are both available through #KindleUnlimited!

Coffee Girl is everything I could've hoped for. I am new to Sophie Sinclair, but fell in love with her writing immediately. Her style reminds me a lot of R.S. Grey, who I just adore.

Kiki loses her job as a stylist at a magazine, and is forced to move across the country for a new job as a styling assistant to Tatum, a famous country singer. From the first time they see each other Kiki and Tatum have a crazy connection that everyone can feel. Tatum is just getting out of a toxic and very public relationship, but he can't stay away from Kiki. Neither one has ever felt love this strong, but z relationship in the public eye is anything but easy.

Okay, I need to take a deep breath before I get started here... this book is so, so, so amazing. I just finished it last night, and I want to start over again. I loved everything about the story between Kiki and Tate. The chemistry between the two MC's is so intense and sweet plus we get some steamy scenes.

Tate is cocky, but still soft hearted enough to make me love him. He's a country boy, which I am definitely in to. Kiki is a little insecure, but I am sure I would be if I was dating a country music star. There is some angst, but just the right amount to keep me interested without causing me to want to throw my phone against the wall. I loved all the music references, and the lyrics Tate wrote for Kiki.

The real questions is, why is my husband not writing me a song?!

I will say, I was a little disappointed in Lee and that whole situation, and I wished Tate would have done more to prevent the big misunderstanding. There is two (maybe three sorta) villains in this book, and I do think we could've made without some of the cat fights between Maddie and Kiki. I want women to support each other and not fight over the attention of some guy. Come on! I loved Sarah and Kiki's friendship, and am excited for the next book. I actually already downloaded The Makeup Artist and can't wait to read Lex and her story next.

I received a free copy from the author/ publisher through NetGalley in return for an honest review.

This was just the lighthearted, swoony, sweet romance I needed after reading a really emotionally heavy story. I don't often read rockstar romances, and I don't follow country music, so I was nervous that out of my own lack of background in this story world I might fail to connect, but wow was I wrong, and that to me is a true sign of good storytelling: the power to draw a reader into a book, to build a world that's inviting and relatable, even if the reader has very little baseline knowledge in the story's subject.

This was such a fantastic example of a rockstar romance done well. The pacing flowed, the story sucked me right in, the chemistry was sparkling but not overwrought, the writing descriptive enough without getting longwinded or redundant, and I felt the representation of the challenges of love between the famous star and the "ordinary" girl was realistic for its depiction of insecurity, public scrutiny, and the duplicity that often plagues stardom.

Kiki and Sarah's solid woman supporting woman friendship was also a star of this story. They have each other's backs, they bring out the best in each other, and they don't break each other's trust. Yay!

Hats off to Sophie for sucking me into the Coffee Girl World. It's made me really excited for Sarah's story in The Makeup Artist!

What a wonderful find! I was just breezing through selections on NetGalley this morning and after finishing Coffee Girl, I am completely blown away. It's so hard to believe that this is Sophie Sinclair's debut novel because the writing is that good. Her characterization is fantastic, the storyline is addictive, and there is a perfect blend of romance, humor, and conflict. Her "bad guys" are frustratingly bad, but her "good guys" will tug at your heartstrings very early on.

Tatum and Kiki's story is definitely a slow-burn type romance with a ton of obstacles, but I promise you will feel the emotions leaping off the pages as you read. I honestly cannot think of any criticism of this novel except maybe that it is very long. However, I'm not sure how it could have been compressed because everything was relevant to the story. This is absolutely a 5-star read for me and I'm very eager to get started on the next in the series!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing a review copy in exchange for my honest opinion!

I loved this book, a love story full of twists and turns based around the music industry, all totally believable. I read it in one day.
I cannot wait to read the follow up, The Make Up Artist.

This book was great, everything I look for in a RomCom.

The female lead was not a wimpy Cinderella, thank god, and a bit of a mess to be honest. This is a positive though as it made her more relatable.

Before opening the book I presumed the male lead was going to be an arsehole, but surprisingly this is an actual decent guy, not someone who is only nice to the girl and an arse to everyone else, but someone who is nice.

The story flows with ease, and although the climax felt a little rushed this is definitely something I'll re-read.

This was great! If you like yourself a country singer then this is certainly for you! It had the right amount of drama/tension and romance, with characters I would happily read more of. Defiantly would recommend.
Thankyou to Netgalley for allowing me to read a ARC of this book in return for an honest review.

Coffee Girl is the first book in a contemporary romance series by Sophie Sinclair. That is, until Kiki meets her sinfully sexy new boss’s boss. In this crazy world of show business Tatum needs to learn who he can trust, but that doesn’t come easily, because the one person who holds all the cards may just throw them down and walk away.

Coffee Girl is a book that captured my attention pretty quickly. It started off great, Kiki and her reactions were both sweet and snarky in turn. Her situation, and reactions, were well done and relatable. I liked Tatum too. He is smart and funny, and despite talking a good game he was sweet and just as vulnerable as Kiki. I liked the set up, and how they handled it. The cast of secondary characters were very well done, and I was engaged in their well-being. I will admit that I shared some of the annoyance as the secondary characters with Kiki's self doubt. and that there were a few moments that I felt like the pacing stumbled. However, I think the characters and the crisis of the romance were very well planned- and I really liked how respect for each other and the bonds of friendship were important aspects of the story.

Coffee Girl is a solid romance that balances laughs, angst, and heat.

Wow totally enjoyed the love story of Kiki and Tatum. Sophie is a new author to me and I already can’t wait for Sarah and Lex’s story. These characters carry you away and this one hit a note with me.
Did you catch that? Anyway, what I so loved is that this was about a country singer and his life on the road. Most of all how he becomes infatuated with who he calls ‘Coffee Girl.’
As far as he was concerned, he would give her a title he wanted as long as she stayed on his tour. She had a job at Cufflinks magazine for five years as a fashion stylist. But they were downsizing and they let her go. Her brother Cam knows Tatum’s manager and WALLA!
There are the supporting characters that are just a hoot. But what is so endearing is the genuine and sweet way the first time he shows his hand he likes her. He uses music. Nope not his but going over each other’s playlist to get to know each other. You will just swoon.
Yet, like every love story, there is the evil villain and this has more than one. But love always wins. I give this: 5++++ stars. Provided by netgalley.com.

"Coffee Girl" was such a wonderful read and I ripped through this one in less than 24 hours. Kiki and Tatum were two incredibly lovable characters and I was so happy see their character development throughout the book.

Sophie Sinclair's style of writing hooks you in and keeps you engaged through the entire story, and her witty one-liners definitely had me chuckling out loud more than once. Not only did she have great character arcs, but she created a cast of lovable side characters that support both Kiki and Tatum - I'm so looking forward to her next one featuring their best friends.

Do yourself a favor and put this steamy, well-written, indie-romance on your shelf ASAP.

This was a super fun & sweet & quick read!

I’m country music fan that lives in Europe, far far away from any possibility of fulfilling my country heart’s desires... so give me all the country music/cowboy romances I can get! If they have Spotify playlists - as Coffee Girl does, that’s a big plus!

The plot is the classic underdog-falls-in-love-with-the-celebrity type of thing. I loved Kiki and Tatum’s banter, their interactions made me smile and even got some laugh out loud moments out of me. I was thrilled that Tatum was simply a nice guy. I do love bad boys, but I was craving a hot good guy and Tate delivered. I would have preferred that the female characters weren’t so hateful and toxic towards each other, though. Thank God for Sarah! Her and TJ were wonderful side characters and I can’t wait to read Sarah and Lex’s romance in, Makeup Girl.

Overall this felt like that oldie but goodie romcom you’ve watched a thousand times, but will keeping going back to. Loved it!

*ARC kindly provided via NetGalley. This is my honest opinion.*

I’m a coffee girl myself so I couldn’t pass this title without finding out more. Double this with a sexy country singer and you have an amazing story! This was my first book from the author and I’m looking forward to more of her stories!

Kiki works as a stylist at a men’s magazine. Because of budget cuts, she finds herself fired and in need of a job. Her two options: become a nanny for her obnoxious sister or work as an assistant for a country singer’s stylist. Since her sister is a pain, she decides to work for the country star. Tatum Is the mentioned country star. He recently got out of a toxic relationship and he’s getting ready for a tour, so distractions are the last thing he needs. However, from the first time he sees Kiki, he feels the urge to get to know her.

Their friendship and after relationship are not easy. He’s a public figure and she’s an ordinary girl. The situation with his ex just makes things even more difficult. There are happy times, sexy times but also hurt. These two will have to go through much before finally getting their HEA.

What I didn’t anticipated and was a nice surprise was the update at the end. The author gave us a glimpse of how everyone ended up after the last chapter. I’m happy to see that Sarah is getting her story. I’ll be looking for “The Makeup Artist”!!!

Hands down to this amazing book!! 😍 Words can't describe how much I love this book. I went through so much emotions from fangirling moments, laughing my ass off, heart aching, rolling my eyes and o.m.g moments. I started this yesterday last night and binge it all day today! The angsty got me emotionally wrecked where my heart felt ripped out or tore apart! Of course, can't go without mentioning the hottness which I really did some imagining...I really loved all the characters, even the cruel ones, it was just overall just perfectly written in every direction and points in the story. I'm dying to get The Makeup Artist 😣 but gotta wait now...but no doubt I will hope to own a physical copy of this book too! I will now want to read any books by Sophie Sinclair's!! 💙 Please check out this book if you haven't yet, highly recommend it if you love a lot of flirty funny banters too

This was such an adorably fun and quick read! Kiki and Tatum stumbled a bit right until the very end, but they’re story was so cute and their chemistry was steamy AF. I’m not a huge country music fan, Tatum kind of makes me want to be! Kiki is super sweet and a little naive, but impossible not to like and root for. If you need a quick pick me up, this is the book for you!

The Coffee Girl is my the first book of Sophie Sinclair that I have come across in NetGalley. Thank you, NetGalley for this cute and sweet romance of ARC and; in exchange to that, I am writing my honest review for this awesome book.

Where should I start first? The introduction was great. Everything was made known. How Kiki gets her job as the "Coffee Girl" with Tatum for this Road Tour. It all explained line by line. It's an easy read. That's the first reason why I get glued to it.

Plot? Very straight forward and entertaining. I don't get tired of reading Tatum and Kiki's journey at all. I savour it by reading it with full concentration and I don't feel like rushing to the end because I knew that they both will eventually be going to end up together (whoops! Not so spoiler!). But don't you worry, you will get endless satisfaction with the storyline. Trust me, if you love reading a cute romance, then you will love this book.

There's not much of conflict and disagreement. The most you will get is Kiki was being in a state of low self-confidence and at all time being insecure with herself as an ordinary girl, not a popular one. She appeared to be unnecessarily competing with Savannah and Maddie. Honestly, I feel like screaming at her and say, "Look! Tatum loves you so much, you idiot! Why are you so insecure and overthinking? Duh!" I was hoping for a more natural couple-fighting that could bring up the best in both of them.

The characters are great and the development is very engaging. I was glued to the story and felt that the whole members in the band were dearly close to my heart. You should read this and observe how Tatum and Kiki begin to like each other. But at a certain point, the character remains as it is until the end. I have enjoyed how the antagonist being turned down and it creates the story became more exciting.

If you were looking for a very calm and relaxing pace of reading, you should pick this book. Ah! I sincerely hope that the publisher will let me read the next sequel. Can't wait!

My rating for this book is 5 of 5 stars!

Coffee Girl is a well written light hearted romance, the Kiki and Tatum are great characters. I enjoyed the friendships and the other plot lines as well as the main romance theme. I'm looking forward to reading more from Sophie!

COFFEE GIRL was such a fun peek into the perks and pitfalls of life within the music industry. Kiki is a fashion stylist who is looking for a job and her brother just happens to have an in with a touring country music artist, Tatum. Kiki and Tatum are completely adorable and hilarious! Their moments together are absolutely laugh out loud funny and their banter back and forth is perfect. I love a romance that has playfulness and passion!

One thing I particularly liked about this story was that the conflicts and "bad guys" were nuanced and complex. So often, book characters are painted as all bad and all good. But you can see both sides of each character and each conflict that arises. The author give enough care to tell a story where you can see that sometimes there is no easy answer.

If you're in the mood for swoony romance, great friendships, and lots of hilariously awkward moments that will make you laugh then I highly recommend this book!

Thanks to Netgally and the publisher for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you Netgalley for my free copy to review and enjoy. I loved this book. It was a sweet, enjoyable, fun and light read. It’s a story about country superstar Tatum and his stylist Kiki. The nicknames for each other and the text messages between them was adorable. The music was an added beauty to the story. I liked how they bonded over music. Sarah and TJ were fun supporting characters. Everyone should have fun friends that will be there for the lows and highs in life. You won’t regret picking this gem up. I’m looking forward to the next book!!

4-4.5 stars!
I freaking loved this book! This is a new author for me, I was intrigued by the storyline, and it absolutely did not disappoint! I laughed out loud quite a few times, and also snot cried...very much pulls you into the story, and characters.

Kiki recently lost her job. She’s faced with working for her ridiculously snobby sister as her nanny, or she takes a sweet gig traveling as an assistant to the stylist to some country guy. Kiki really doesn’t care much for country, but when faced with he the alternative of her sister, she jumps at the chance. In the beginning, she basically an errand girl to the stylist. This starts the “Coffee Girl” nickname. She had no idea who her ‘boss’ is until she literally runs into him during her coffee run. Tatum is not only incredibly good looking, but he has an awesome charismatic personality. As her job demands increase, so does the budding relationship with Tatum.
Tatum is the new ‘it face’ of country. He’s currently on tour, and getting out of a toxic relay that was built in necessity. There’s something about his new ‘Coffee Girl’ that completely enthralls him. She has no idea who he really is, doesn’t have the ‘fan girl’ attitude, and is goofy to boot. They hit it off instantly, and hesitantly because of his career.
They absolutely crack me up as a couple. Kiki is incredibly insecure, because she a ‘no one’ and Tatum is at the top of his career. They balance each other perfect. I loved this. It was comfortable, real, and you absolutely connect with the characters. I wanted to call in sick to work so I could just absorb in their story. I can’t wait to read about Lex and Sarah!

Coffee Girl was a fun, sexy read about a Country superstar, Tatum, and Kiki, a new stylist on his team. Dealing with life in the public eye, touring the country, and an ex-girlfriend looking for revenge, Tatum and Kiki must find out if their attraction is the real deal.
I really enjoyed this book - it was a quick read, but held my attention through to the end. There were quite a few steamy scenes, so if that's not your thing, I would not recommend. But I highly enjoyed reading about the BTS on Tatum's country tour, all the musical references, and the arc of Tatum and Kiki's relationship.
I recommend this book if you enjoy sexy romances about two people trying to beat the odds.

I loved Coffee Girl. I started as a buddy read after lunch on a Sunday, ignored my kids and finished by dinner. I loved Tatum and Kiki. A good celebrity/regular person story is always a good read, but this one grabbed me from the first chapter. I really enjoyed Kiki as a person and as a friend in her group. She was fun and normal and completely relatable and Tatum was exactly what I wanted for her. This is the first book for Sophie Sinclair and I am so excited that my friend suggested it to me.

Warning: Do not read this book in public or even around your friends and family if you are afraid of being judged for grinning and straight out cackling to yourself. You just know a book is gonna be a winner when you want to stalk all of its characters and are practically salivating for more from not only the main character but every single support character introduced within the novel !!!!!!

I was totally blown away by how entertaining and downright hilarious the storyline was. Sophie Sinclair has written such an amazingly relatable line up of characters that I literally want (no need!) to be in this book. Is there anything more relatable than talking smack about your sisters Instagram post while tapping the heart to like it ?? (we've all been there).

Kiki has recently found herself on the unemployment block and her bro (the cute, hunky, mysterious) Cam hooks her up with an assistant stylist gig for Country's hottest bad boy Tatum Reed and oh mama! As Kiki tries to navigate the world of touring, country music fashion, frenemy bosses, mean artistes, bitter exes and the constant parade of hot men she tries not to lose her integrity and become a typical groupie which Tatum is making really really difficult by stripping every freaking day in front of her. I honestly did not know which was more entertaining to me Kiki's real life, her inner monologuing or her witty banter and comebacks, she is spunky spicy and so headstrong!

Tatum's signature line is "Chick's dig it" and you know what dangnabbit he is absolutely right. They dig it so much he has a creepy crazy ex tipping dirty details to the tabloids, an upcoming starlet popping into his bed and fans grabbing his top and bottom. What's a guy to do when he's asked to play a bad boy role for the media and all he really wants to do is get hot and heavy with his stylist. Can the pressure of having a "secret" relationship ruin the one thing he didn't know he needed?

It would be remiss of me to end this review without mentioning the real star of this book, T freaking J (aka bestie of Kiki). TJ- is literally the best friend you wish you had. His compilation of witty one-liners takes this book from romcom to comedic genius! The icing on top of the cake for me was definitely the fact that it has its own soundtrack. I mean come on, she writes and has an eclectic taste in music that had me You-Tubing in the wee hours of the morning!

I cannot wait for more of my favorite Nashville posse because in the end all we really want is someone to fall with us! !!!!!

Thank you to NetGallery for allowing me to read the arc in exchange for my honest review

I enjoyed the main characters and their banter, their getting to know each other chats with music references dotted throughout. A little hot and steamy but filled with a sweet romance and comical comebacks.

I enjoyed this book but did feel like there was something missing, I think some more detail on the characters or build up to the romance but happy nonetheless for an easy read!

I am swooning!

Absolutely swooning over Coffee Girl! Like what in the world, I just totally fell in love with Tatum Reed and Kiki Forbes and I am extremely sad this fun book is over with.

You know when you find a book that just wraps you right up and you actually feel like you are living in the story? Like nothing could snap you out of this fantasy land you are in? That’s how I felt reading Coffee Girl. I just totally want to go on a country star tour with this fun bunch of characters that Sophie Sinclair has created.

I freaking adored Tatum and Kiki. Tatum being a hot, hot, hotttttt country singer and Kiki being a goofy, adorable stylist. I could not get enough of them and all their banter and drama. They totally suck you in and so does their steamy attraction to each other!

“Want to fall with me?”

Plus, the title Coffee Girl? I’m obsessed, after reading it I think it is the cutest title in the world and I applaud Sinclair for just writing this adorable book! It was just what I needed and I devoured it in a day and a half.

My romance lovers? Not even kidding when I say you need to get this book asap and just enjoy every minute of it because I promise you will! I’m totally having a book hangover and need to get my hands on the next one in this series.

This week’s book review is Coffee Girl by Sophie Sinclair. A new to me author. Now, I don’t know about you, but reading a new author is SO much like dating for me. There are nerves as I open the book and a few jitters as I get to the first page. There is a period of getting to know the voice and rhythm of the author, just like finding out the favorite color or movie of a prospective love interest. Sometimes it works and you end the evening with a kiss and plans for a second date… or book.

Coffee Girl is written in first person present tense. Now I am probably going to get a basket full of tomatoes thrown at me here, but I’ll admit that this is NOT my favorite. I enjoy either first or third person writing, but present tense loses me a lot of times. In the case of Coffee Girl, however, Ms. Sinclair manages to write it in a way that is seamless and manages to pull me deep into the lives of the characters to the point I lose myself in the words and ignore everything else.

Kiki Forbes has is ROUGH in the first few chapters of the book. She loses her job as a stylist for a magazine and is thrown into financial peril… especially considering the fact that she lives in a region that is *pricey* even for a studio apartment. So it isn’t long before Kiki is actually willing to take the job as a Dress Barn associate. Not at all what she was looking for.

As things get tighter for her, she has two job opportunities in front of her:

Be a nanny for her Facebook perfect sister or,
An assistant to a stylist (i.e. a glorified coffee girl) for country music’s sexiest man alive
Neither is what she is looking for, but Kiki has to take something and working for her snarky sister seems like more torture than she’s willing to endure at this point after all she’s been through. So instead she packs her bags and moves from Cali to Nashville (hello culture shock!) and the world of Tatum Reed.

Now as for Tatum, from the outside his life is pretty darn close to perfect. My man has a skyrocketing country music career and an idyllic relationship with a fellow singer that fans would kill for… or so that is what his publicist wants everyone to believe. In reality their relationship ended several months prior, but since their fans have put them on a mile high pedestal, all the managers and PR specialists involved have suggested they save face and pretend they are still together…

At least long enough to snag a coveted country music award.

Coffee Girl is a lighthearted romance with low angst and a great choice for a relaxing read in a bubble bath with a glass of wine and a square of the good chocolate (you know the kind I mean) to put the cherry on the top of the decadent self-care sundae.

One of my all time favorite romances is the Thoughtless series by S.C. Stephens. There’s something about a confident musician that just makes you swoon.

And then we meet Tatum..... Country music’s leading man on the road touring with his band, and team including his personal stylists’ assistant, Kiki. Tatum Cannot wait to lose his ex girlfriend and America’s not so sweetheart Savanna Edwards since they’ve managed to keep the media believing they are still in love when really they hate eachother.

Kiki isn’t sure about this whole “country scene”. Especially after her first run in with the hot singer, where she is covered in coffee earning the nickname “the coffee girl”.

Kiki and Tatum’s relationship blossoms from mutual understanding to hot chemistry while on tour with the band. You can only hide a love like that for so long ;).

This is a book I’ll be sharing with friends and recommending for my romance lovers.
The relationship felt genuine and I loved the pop culture and music references. I think this couple deserves their own playlist.

I’m just sad I can’t listen to Tatum sing “Fall with me” *swoon*

I can’t wait to read more by this talented author. She deserves all the love!

Great easy read. I really loved the story and got so gripped I couldn't put it down. Read it in an afternoon!

Thank you to the author Sophie Sinclair for a gifted copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Kiki just got laid off from her job in fashion and her options are to either be her pretentious sister’s nanny or move to Nashville to work as an assistant to the stylist of the country music star, Tatum Reed. Well, neither sounds fun, but life on the road touring with the band beats folding her sister and brother in law’s underwear. From the moment Kiki and Tatum meet, it’s instant attraction but a relationship in the public eye comes with its costs.

One of my goals in 2020 is to read more from indie authors and I’m so glad I picked this one up. I devoured it in less than a day! The story is engaging and the dialogue is fun with some cute banter. I was a little skeptical at first – there are some cringeworthy interactions and Tatum’s character seems questionable, but the story swept me along and I couldn’t put it down. The supporting characters are just as good. My favorite is definitely Kiki’s gay best friend TJ. Really looking forward to the next book featuring Sarah!

This book y’all. If you remember way back to the end of December, I named You’d Be Mine by Erin Hahn as one of my favorite books of 2019. I didn’t think I would find another musician romance book that I loved as much. Well, then I read More Jade by Laura Pavlov and fell in love with this trope yet again. But then I read Coffee Girl by @sophiesinclairauthor and became OBSESSED.⁣

If you are a romance lover, you need to read this so you can meet Kiki and Tatum. I promise you won’t be disappointed. They have one of the best meet cutes when Kiki ends up with coffee all over her thanks to Tatum. He proceeds to nickname her Coffee Girl and the rest is history! Just kidding. The rest of this book is filled with some steam, an angry ex-girlfriend, a hilarious best friend, and an Irish guitar player. Of course, it ends with a happily ever after but I’m pretty sure all of my favorite books do! Oh, and Sophie Sinclair is giving us more when she writes a second book about that Irish guitar player and Kiki’s new best friend! ⁣

I read A LOT of romance, so for a book to really stand out says so much. Coffee Girl stands out. I binged this baby in about 4 hours- which is saying something big. This book has everything you need in a romcom. Kiki and Tatum have a perfect meet cute where Kiki ends up with coffee all over her- hence the nickname. They were the perfect couple. Kiki was talented and funny. Tatum was a HOT, sweet, talented, country music star book boyfriend!!! There is plenty of steam that is well placed and perfectly hot. Awesome supporting characters, especially Kiki’s best friend TJ who was so stinking hilarious.

This is Sophie’s first book and I will be impatiently waiting for the next in the series, “The Makeup Artist” in May!!

4.25/5 stars!

Fired from her job and not wanting to become a nanny to her sister's family, the heroine asked her brother for help in finding a job...as the assistant to the wardrobe stylist for a country band, or basically as the "coffee girl". The nickname was given by the hero, the lead singer of the country band, when the two first met. And thus began a relationship full of attraction, respect, laughter, and trials as exes, misunderstandings, and employer/employee troubles try their best to obstruct the couple's happiness.

I enjoyed the majority of the story, especially as the story is told by both the hero and the heroine. I liked the heroine and how strong yet vulnerable she is, and that she goes for what she wants. I also like the hero, but I did want a chapter from the hero's view when the couple first met and their first time spending time together. What I didn't like was a certain event at the beginning that the hero went through, though it really isn't a deal breaker in my eyes. Overall, I did like the couple and some of the other characters, character flaws and all.

The author's writing style is pleasing to read, making the story flow effortlessly. I look forward to reading more of the author's books about this series, especially as the next book features the makeup/hair stylist and another member of the country band.

The Bottom Line: I’m going to freely admit that I put off reading this book because of a dumb assumption. I erroneously assumed this was going to be a typical hit it and quit it kind of book with naughty bits galore, but what I actually got was a great story with fund characters, and appropriately placed and spaced naughty bits. See kids, that why we shouldn’t assume 😊 I liked Kiki tremendously and while Tatum’s arrogance could sometimes be a bit much, he was also a generally decent character. There are enough “bad guys” and dramatic moments to balance out the funny and the sappy moments and overall plot is both interesting and entertaining. I particularly enjoyed the scenes of texting and the moments when Tatum and Kiki discussed music. In all, I am happy to say that I have learned my lesson and I will try to stop assuming. Coffee Girl put me in my place, and I am very much looking forward to the second installment of the series.

This book has been suggested for me to read so many times so when I saw I had received an arc, I was thrilled! Kiki and Tatum...OMG!!! Loved this couple. I had so much fun watching their relationship progress and it's a funny and sweet read. TJ and and Sarah are also fantastic additions to the book..

I loved the addition of the music into the story. I immediately went and listened to each song when they were mentioned.

Great read overall!

Coffee Girl by Sophie Sinclair is the 1st book to the Coffee Book romantic series, and my first book by this author. I love this book with it's slow burning love story that is both sweet and sexy. Tatum Reed is a country music super star. Mackenzie “Kiki” recently lost her job, and her brother set her up to be style assistant to Tatum. It's either that or be a slave to her sister's family. Kiki has no idea who Tatum is, she doesn't listen to country music. If your looking for a perfect hot escape, give this book a try. I will definitely be reading more books by this author. Strongly recommended.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Coffee Girl is so funny it had me laughing out loud on more than one occasion. Sophie Sinclair is another unknown author to me, but reading this book reminded me very much of the I heart series by Lindsey Kelk. Both authors have similar styles of writing.

The first half is very much a rom com/chick lit type of story, whereas the rest of the book is filled with drama and steamy sex. Yes ticks all the boxes right?

Kiki is a 26 year old stylist working on a men's magazine alongside her stereotypical camp,  gay best friend, TJ. When she loses her job, her sister offers to employ her as her nanny with stringent clauses, but luckily her brother puĺls some strings and manages to get her on the team for a touring country singer.

Kiki goes on tour with the band and has to deal with trying to style a trashy singer, missent texts and misunderstandings. She and country boy Tatum, struggle to keep their relationship on a professional level and encounter lots of drama along the way.

This may all sound very 'Nashville' but it could be any music genre really. I'm sure every girl out there has had a pop star crush more than once in her life, so whilst it's fiction, you're all going to be able to identify with this.

This book is hot, flirty, sexy, and funny with some great characters. Chick lit at its finest.

It's not a negative but I must address the cover of this book. I wouldn't normally pick up a book with this sort of cover. I don't know about other readers, but I am so swayed by a cover. The saying goes don't judge a book by its cover but we all do, don't we? If it's bright and colourful with a cartoon type image, you can pretty much guarantee it's going to be chick lit/rom com.  If a book has a cover of a hot muscley man, I kind of expect some trashy, cheesy and cliched romance story. Now as nice as these men are to look at, my expectations for the storyline wouldn't be very high. This book is so much better than that. Maybe it's a UK thing but I did feel I should raise the point here on NetGalley because it's a seriously good book, and like I say not a complaint at all. :-)

Thank you to @netgalley for a copy of this book to read and review! I had seen it around #bookstagram, wanted to read it and stumbled upon it in #netgalley. Kiki finds herself suddenly unemployed with no job prospects other than being her sisters nanny. For Kiki, that is a big NO! Her brother is able to help her get a job being the assistant-to-the-stylist for country music star Tatum. Tatum’s ex is out to make his life miserable and his new opening act is a handful. The sparks fly between Kiki and Tatum.
I really enjoyed this book and parts of it had me laughing out loud, including Kiki’s cat Oreo! I love a good romance! This one was that with a slow burn and some steam! Plus the epilogue was on point! I love when all your questions are answered! This would be a great vacation read! I have book two awaiting on me and can’t wait!

Kiki has been laid off of her job from popular men's fashion magazine and is given the choice between being her horrible sister's nanny or hitting the road with famous country star Tatum Reed as a glorified errand girl. She decides to go with the errand girl job in hopes that it might lead her to something new and exciting.

Tatum is a country superstar who is struggling with his personal life when his ex girlfriend goes on the attack while he is on the road for his tour. When he meets the new girl on his tour who seems to have no idea who he is, he is smitten. As they spend more time together, they end up falling for each other. But life in the public eye is never easy.

I found this book to be funny, sexy and sweet. I am a sucker for rock star romances and this book was a perfect beach read for the summer. Kiki and Tatum are relatable and have great chemistry and I loved all of the minor characters. Overall, I thought this was a lighthearted easy read and I cannot wait to read more by Sophie Sinclair.

I was given this book for free in exchange for a fair review from Netgalley. All opinions are my own. #NetGalley #CoffeeGirl

Kiki thought she had it all - a job she enjoys, a BFF who adores her, and a cat named Oreo whom she loves. Then she loses her job - what to do????
Tatum is the HOTTEST country singer around He is getting ready to go on tour and his stylist needs an assistant.
How these two lives converge and the romance that ensues is spectactular.
The story is really well written and completely entertaining. I am excited to read the next book to see what happens to Sarah.

This was a great romance story, well written and full of great banter and character development.
I enjoyed the angsty moments and the happily ever after.

Loved this romance story between Kiki and Tate.. Tate is a huge country star. Unfortunately, his newest single with Country Sweetheart Savannah causes him to have to cross paths with her often, even though they’ve been broken up for months. ⁣

Kiki has just been let go by the men’s fashion magazine she styles for and is unemployed. Her brother Cam finds her a job as Tate’s stylists assistant Kiki doesn’t expect Tate to be so handsome and flirty with a coffee girl like her, when he dates superstars like Savannah. ⁣

I loved their playful banter and slow burn romance. Can't wait for the next book.

I live for the swoon worthy romances! And @sophiesinclairauthor delivered with Coffee Girl.

Kiki is laid off and down on her luck when her brother calls a connection and helps her land a job working for a country singers tour.Kiki and her bestie TJ crack me up! Tatum, our green eyed crooner is the sweetest. Now there is some 🍆 so be forewarned! But this book is not all about the eggplant 🍆. Not to mention we meet Sarah, and the band.

This was exactly the book I was looking for to escape for a bit. I just love it.
A huge thank you to @netgalley and @booksgosocialgroup for a copy of the book.

I binged this and cannot wait to read the rest in the series! I adored Kiki and Tate's story. Kate is a huge country super star and newly single. Kiki has just been let go from her job and she moves in with her sister and her brother helps her find a job as Tate's stylists' assistant. Kiki did not expect Tate to be so handsome and flirty with a coffee girl like her. I loved all of the song references in this one and would love to listen to the playlist! I loved their playful banter and slow burn romance.

This was such a fun swoony read I had a smile on my face the whole time .
Kiki gets let go from her job & her brother helps her get a job on tour with country singer Tatum Reed.
from their first interaction you're rooting for this couple. I loved them together from the funny banter to the romance. Tatar tot & Coffee girl belonged together.
I also liked the conflict in this one and the way Tatum got Kiki back had me swooning

My favourite thing was the friendships with the other characters. Kiki's friendship with Tj was friendship goals they were hilarious together I want Tj in my life! & then Sarah ( the makeup artist on the tour) becomes a perfect fit with them too. I also loved Tatum's friendship with Lex too. I don't usually read new authors but I'm so glad I read this it really is a book I will recommend to other people.
5 stars from me

This was a really fun and entertaining story that had me devouring the pages. I couldn't put it down, and can't wait to read the next installment for Sarah and Lex.

I loved the chemistry and spicy rapport between Kiki and Tatum, and I feel like the storyline is believable. I felt for both of them and what they struggle with.

My only negatives would be Kiki's tendency to be self-deprecating and quick to assume that Tatum's love was really shallow. I think I like my female protagonists to be a little more confident and I wish that she had stood up for herself and confronted Tatum after hearing something (and believing it) from his manager.

Other than that, I really did like this sexy steamy funny romance and will be back for more in the sequels!

This was a delightful read. I devoured it in one day and didn’t want to put it down. Books 2 and 3 are now available and I read them in quick succession and loved them all.
There were so many moments that made me laugh and swoon from the heat. While this was a slow burn, once Kiki and Tatum got together, the heat got turned up and did not disappoint.
This romcom was exactly what I needed with the humor and heat. I’m team Tatum all the way.

Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com.

This is the first book that I have read by this author. And it was a good read. what sucked me in was knowing that it involved a rock star, I am just a sucker for that.
Kiki gets fired from her last job in San Francisco, then lands a job as a styling assistant for a popular country band in Nashville. I thought that it was cute that she was in a coffee shop and bumped into a hot guy and spills coffee all over herself and then finds out the guy that she bumped into was the lead singer of the band.
Kiki and Tatum were a great couple, the meet cute was adorable. Their funny and talented. I loved Kiki’s best friend TJ so funny.
Knowing there is another book in the series I am excited to know where it’s going to go next.

This book had everything I could ever dream of, squashed between its front and back covers.

Kiki's new role as Stylist Assistant to Americas hottest country artist, is every girls dream, However the roll includes much more than bedazzling outfits and floral shirts. When Kiki realises she's got to contend with her growing feelings for her Bosses Boss - sparks fly and backstage life turns into a fire of emotions.

I love the relationship that develops between all the characters throughout this book. Not only does Sinclair portray a sexy romance between Tate and Kiki but she also develops a glowing friendship between Kiki and make-up Artist Sarah.

I loved reading this book and can only wish for a life like Kiki's - Thank you Sophie for writing this escape of a novel.

Really charming and cute, i did not expect to like it. But i really did :)
The two main characters were so cute and Oreo was just so adorable!
When people put adorable animals in movies and books i am very much sold.

Oh this was such a fun read! I loved Kiku and Tatum; two great and strong characters who both grew through the novel. And all of the rescue animals. What a great combo! Definitely recommend checking this one out.

Coffee Girl by Sophie Sinclair is the first book in a series of three.

Mackenzie Leigh Forbes, or Kiki as she is known, is a stylist at a fashion magazine called Cufflinks. When Cufflinks is taken over, she loses her job and after applying for other positions, is faced with two options - either becoming a nanny for her sister's children or working as an assistant stylist for Tatum Reed, a country rockstar. Deciding that the assistant stylist's role has more appeal she prepares for a life on tour...

In Coffee Girl, the author has drawn some real, endearing characters. I loved Kiki’s personality and her friendship with Sarah and TJ. Told in a switching narrative between Kiki and Tatum, the story was engaging and the dialogue was witty and fun with lots of banter. Her brother, Cameron was so supportive and the sarcastic interaction between her and sister, Brooke made things lively. Tatum and Kiki had a relationship that made for a very appealing story which was chockablock with drama, and I'm so pleased I chose to read Coffee Girl. I'm looking forward to picking up the next instalment, The Makeup Artist. Highly recommended.😊

I received a complimentary copy of this novel at my request from BooksGoSocial via NetGalley. This review is my own unbiased opinion.

This book was floating around Instagram all of last year and earlier this spring I finally had the chance to read it. TBH, I wasn’t sure what this book was about and I wasn’t sure if I was even going to like it. This book was so hyped up that I was just preparing myself to be disappointed.

What happens when you throw a girl who just moved across the country after being fired who now has a new job on a tour bus with a hot country singer, his ex, and a new boss that doesn’t believe in her? Drama. Sexual tension. And more drama.

First of all a big thank you to netgalley, the author and the publishers for sending me a copy of this book to read and review.

Romance is quickly becoming one of my favourite genres. I have been loving getting into them lately. I found this to be so funny and adorable and yet so heartwarming, I binged this whole book in one day. I loved the banter between the main characters, Kiki and Tatum, so much. Their chemistry was spot on and I thought the whole book was brilliant.

I loved this book so much that I binge-read the entire series in less than 48 hours. Coffee Girl is about a country music superstar who, quite literally, falls in love with the coffee girl. The friendships were top tier, the romance was flowed so well and made my heart incredibly happy. I swooned, I laughed, I fell in love with this group of people. Sarah, Kiki, TJ, and Tatum were so fantastic to read about and I wish this series was 6 books longer.

I absolutely adored this book and I recommend it to my fellow book lovers. The romance/attraction evolves and the humor just makes it better. The best read I have experienced, enough wit to make me fall off the sofa laughing. Don't pass up this book, you will love it as much as I do!
