Another quick and easy read in the fun filled Florida town of Cats Paw. This one has Dexter coming to see his brother and Ynez, who is the chef. A mystical romance, and one that was hard to put down. Enjoyable read, and one I highly recommend.

Another installment of the Cat’s Paw Cove series! I’ve loved them all and this one continues the trend. This book is funny and the characters are delightfully flawed. After living in basic isolation, Dexter has understandably issues with social skills from time to time. Ynez is kind and seems to understand him well. It was good to visit with characters I have known from previous books. Humor and romance were well represented in this one. This series always has unique characters that bring readers into their world for a bit.

Taken by the Imp is a delightfully sweet romp. There are good guys, bad guys, talking cats, magic and love. Ynez is an Imp and a fabulous chef with a heart of gold and more secrets than even she knows. Dexter is a financial genius and a gifted telepath. He is more gifted than even he knows. When Dexter and Ynez meet its magic. I adored these two. A terrific addition to the series but can be read stand alone.

I read this as a standalone by receiving an ARC from netgalley.

This was a cute read for everyone who likes to relax a little by reading a guaranteed HEA with a town full of cats (both normal and magical), jinni's quirky and magically varied people and cute characters.

Basically, it was cloud cute sparkles land sprinkled with time travel, witch hunt, secret boxes, other dimension spies, family and how to deal with a power that has continually been a major source of incovinience in your life.

It was well-written and everyone is already all so emotionally mature and agreable.

A perfect relaxing read for this quarantine!

Would love to check out the previous books in the series.

Thank you Net galley for the ARC and miss Sharon Buchbinder for the good story!

Thank you NetGalley, Author Collective 20 and Sharon Buchbinder for gifting me an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
If you’re on the market for a romantic comedy with a splash of telepathy and a hint of talking cats, look no further.
Taken by the Imp was such a quirky and light read but also extremely out of my usual reads. It worked as the perfect palate cleanser after a heavier book. The romance in this one is sweet and charming. I ended up finishing it in one sitting!
