Description

Blind Perception is the latest novel from Randy Lane; a tale of corruption, deceit and blackmail that delves into the darker side of how the other half live. A group of four opulent friends, from the comfort of their seemingly idyllic suburb of Wilton, Connecticut, aim to keep their finger in every pie.

Their loving, peaceful life provides all the cover for their less than moral extra-curricular activities. From their seat, they relish in espionage and smoke and mirrors.

On a mission to get his son, Matt, into the prestigious institution of Harvard University, there is nothing that Dr Robert Weinstein wouldn't do.

With the help of his nefarious partners and the cover of his charity, Crimson, their influence knows no bounds. That is until the discovery of a body throws their plans into disarray.

With Detectives Brockington and Wade hot on their tails, can they hold themselves together and maintain control over those less fortunate?

This was a fun, fst read- read the whole book in 2 sittings. The characters are those people we know, look good, too good, on the surface and can be as ugly inside as they look nice outside.

Those that have, want more and are prepared to do uncool things to get them. Both superficial and venal, these are some fun characters and its tough to find much sympathy for any of them.

Willing to go to extraordinary lengths to protect what they have, the body count starts to rise. Easily swept under the carpet at first, things begin to unravel.
Enjoyed this book, and plan to enjoy others by this author- he truly has, as he says, a keen eye for narcisisism and privilege- people I love to hate.
My only hesitation was the ending......
