Another fabulous book by Helen.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading it and loved the characters and setting.

Hannah moves to Butterbury after her relationship ends and starts her life surrounded by new friends and her own business.

But it seems, that her past, which she’d left behind has come back into her life, and she’s left thinking whether she’s done right by letting them into her life again.

It seems she was right to think that as things start to go wrong in her business. She starts questioning whether she’s overworking and making mistakes, but realises that it’s not her but someone else that’s behind the mistakes.

Love reading books by Helen, always unputdownable and this was too.

Recommend it.

My first book by this author and it certainly won’t be my last. This is a really lovely story with (mainly) likeable characters but I don’t want to give any of the plot away! Set in the most picturesque little village and an absolute joy to read. I highly recommend this book.

Simply amazing. Perfectly idyllic setting. I loved the multi generational friendships. Hannah’s story was anything but straight forward and my heart went out to her, her feelings for Liam were so pure. Her heart is so huge and it’s only Doctor Joe who can match it. I loved the attraction between then, but also how we only saw Hannah’s side until the ending when Joe tells us his story, which is just as heartbreakingly uplifting as Hannahs.
I enjoyed the idea of creating care packages to show how much you love and care for someone and in a place like Butterbury there will never be a shortage of people caring. I really enjoyed reading about Rhys too and I have my fingers crossed for another visit to Lantern square to read his and Millys story.
An unbelievable good feel read.

Well what a beautiful story filled with happiness, comedy and lovely characters. I read this sitting in my garden with a glass of wine and sped through it, wanting to finish tosomething enviable, brilliant location know what the outcome was going to be for Hannah.

It had everything all great chick lit should contain - a grumpy but attractive neighbour, an elderly grandpa figure giving advice, a new business venture that sounds enviable, brilliant descriptions of beautiful locations and ex-friends that are up to no good until it all comes right again in the end for the heroine.

I hadn't read anything by Helen Rolfe previously but I do enjoy authors such as Jenny Colgan, so this was a delight and I will be looking out for more in the future. I only give this 4 out of 5 stars as the concept of the book isn't hugely original and mind blowing, but it was cosy and lovely.

Many thanks to Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
