I work in the jewellery industry and so have to know a lot about this subject. As a result my 9 year old daughter has grown up been a bit obsessed with this subject and has a pretty impressive loose stone collection. I've given her some of my reference books to liik at but they are a bit dry for a kid. So this piqued my interest. It's a wonderful entry level to this subject for kids. Colourful and informative and never boring.

I really enjoyed this book!
The images are wonderful, the facts on the different gems, rocks and minerals are great and I thought it was a great little book to flick through and I learnt quite a bit from the book as an adult too!
It would be a great reference guide for children!
It is 5 stars from me for this one!

This is brilliant! Who knew there was so many different types of rocks, minerals and gems!? This is a must have book for people who love rocks or people who want to learn more about them. Full of easy to read text and pictures too. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book.

A to Z of Rocks, Minerals and Gems.
This is a very nice kids book that I have read. Though this is a kids book there were so many Rocks mentioned that even I don't know at 23.
What I loved about the book is that they to have mentioned a picture for each of the rock than just adding some fun illustrations. And also that they have taken care of the kid's mind as they haven't just started with putting information about the rocks directly, they have first made them familiar with the subject by providing the basis of it. Other than that the language used is simple and easy,
The book is recommended to kids and also to those who wish to learn about the rocks.
