Wow! What an unbelievable story, LA Casey has an uncanny ability to create stories that capture you at chapter one! And Forgetting You, did just that, Elliott and Noah have the kind of love that withstand the test of time. Forgetting You had me reeling with emotions, something that had me hooked that I couldn’t stop reading until the end. Such an amazing storyline, I loved it and highly recommend reading.

Forgetting You by L.A. Casey a tail of two halves. I have struggled with figuring a rating for this story as for the first third at least, I struggled to read, it wasn’t bad it just didn’t grip me all the time, some parts were great and then other chunks just could have been pulled to make a better story. I was frustrated as I was left wondering if the author was American writing a story set in London, or just trying to appease an American audience, but it only happened at first, once the author got into their stride it became five-stars all the way. I had not read the author previously but after the strength of the latter part of the story I will definitely be picking them up again. Noah Ainsley was great, you could feel her confusion and heart break, when she realises that she doesn’t remember her recent life, how bereft she feels when she doesn’t understand what led to the decisions she made, when she doesn’t remember her own husband, who she knows she should love an not the man she is actually in love with. Elliot is just like a warm hug he made me feel safe reading the story, if there was every something meant to be it was him. Do pick this story up, as it could have been me just not getting into it, and if you do struggle at the start keep going as I promise you it gets so much better, it became a story I wont easily forget.

You can see from miles where is story going I literally didn't like anything.
I'm sure other's might like it it, but i didn't.

I've been a fan of LA Casey for a while so I was always going to buy this book. She has a way of drawing you into the story, the way she writes grips you from the start.
Noahs tale has you wondering from the beginning why her life has turned out this way. Some authors focus too much on the main characters, I love the way LA Casey draws you into each and every character's traits and personalities. I'm probably waffling in this review but it was just SO good.
My favourite book of this author was always Until Harry, until I read Her Lifeline. I now think Forgetting You has just knocked them both off the top spot! Total 5 star!

What an amazing story, I a big fan of Lee's and when I saw this was up on NetGalley I was so excited and when I saw I got a copy I did a happy dance, WHat to say about this book without giving too much away, Noah and Elliot were great characters and I really enjoyed reading about them and their story was a hard one but lee wrote it so well I felt part of the story with them. I felt all the up and downs and so glad I got to read this, it's such a great book.

I greatly enjoyed this book, thank you for giving me a preview copy. The plot was interesting and fast paced and I sympathised with the characters. This is the first novel I have read by this author but I hope it will not be the last!

OMG where to start... This book has your heart from the prolog. I cried, I laughed, I hurt and I loved as if this was my story. L.A. Casey is an amazingly talented author and she has once again captured my heart with her writing. This story does not disappoint at all. I was sad to see the end of the story because I was at the last page but as with her other stories This one has a happily ever after as well.

Elliot and Noah are the perfect couple that were separated buy something seemingly small. Years later, after a tragic accident they are pushed together by some thing that I can only define as fate. but although this accident has brought this couple back together will their love be enough? or is there something else in store for them? after Noah’s accident she wakes up with amnesia and doesn’t remember the past five years of her life. She’s confused and doesn’t remember her life without Elliot. Elliot his only loved one person in this world and she is finally within his reach again. But there are a few things standing in the way of the happiness that he and Noah can have together.

I absolutely loved this book! Was a really easy read all the way through in one sitting. Definitely recommend for any romantic out there!

This was a great read! It is a second-chance contemporary romance with all of the feels and emotions. The action starts out from the first page and continues throughout the story. There are a lot of ups and downs but they do get their HEA.

L.A. Casey does such a great job of writing this story. There is young love, heartbreak, tragedy, and triumph. There is no shortage of angst The love story isn't perfect and the road is bumpy to the HEA, but it is a beautiful love story. Some may have difficulty with some of the subjects in the book but it is tastefully and well-written. I loved the plot. It has twists and turns and there is no shortage of action. There are strong and wonderful characters. I laughed a lot and my heart broke right along with Elliott and Noah. The connection and passion between Elliott and Noah are palpable. I was rooting for them so hard. Everyone deserves to have a love like theirs.

I love L.A. Casey's books. She is a very talented author. When I saw this book on Netgalley, I jumped at the chance to read it and Lee did not disappoint! The book kept my attention from start to finish. I enjoyed every minute of the journey this book took me on and recommend reading it!

A cray story about second chance love, amnesia, looking what what has been missing and loss. This book was a truly emotional story about Noah Ainsley, who was in a terrible accident. When she wakes up. she thinks it is 5 years ago and doesn't remember what has happened in the last few years.

She is looking for the life she once had and the love she knew, Elliot. What Noah learns, is that her relationship with Elliot is over and she is married to another man.


The story plays out as more than memory loss. Noah is dealing with a lot that she can not remember, but learns she is not happy with the life she was living.

I read other books with similar plots and I find it intriguing and juicy

A suspenseful romance. Elliot saves his ex-girlfriend from a car accident. When Noah awakes from a coma in the hospital, she’s forgotten the last five years, including that she and Elliot had broken up and that she had married another man.

I never got into this book. It never rose beyond formulaic for me. So much time is spent telling us that Elliot and Noah are M4EO, but it’s never really shown. Their original breakup didn’t make a lot of sense. Elliot withholds information from Noah, and it’s a big deal, but at no point did anyone think of consulting a psychologist on how to divulge the information to Noah in a therapeutic way. I never really got a full sense of the characters as complex people.

Also, the first chapter is extremely confusing because all the names mentioned are androgynous names. I needed more grounding on how everyone knew each other before jumping into action.

This wasn’t a bad book but I was hoping for more.I was honestly wanting more suspense then what I got. This book was just a lot about Noah and her loving Elliot. That wasn’t a bad thing, I just was hoping for suspense before the 80% Mark especially with how it ended. There was a lot of throwing in Ye due to an accent but then other times it was you. That got a little annoying because it didn’t stay consistent. It would have been different if it came out due to strong emotions but that wasn’t the case for the most part. The plot was really good. A little predictable most of the time but it wasn’t bad. I liked both Noah and Elliot. These were likable and easy to relate too.

I didn't like that the heroine is called Noah as to me that's a male name. I found it off putting to read.

I also didn't like how the author writes Elliot's Irish accent into his speech. I found it distracting.

The book has a few flashbacks but weirdly the first one is Elliot and Noah's first time having sex (they lose their virginity to each other) and then the next flashback is their first kiss? They had a 7 year relationship but the other flashback is to why they broke up. It was because Noah overheard Elliot telling his friend that due to his parents divorcing after such a long marriage he didn't want to get married! They broke up there and then and never spoke to one another again. Noah married someone else and then became distant with her parents and even Elliot's sister Bailey who she was close to. It seemed ridiculous that Elliot hadn't made more effort to try and talk to her and even more ridiculous that they split up after 7 years because he said he didn't want to get married! At this point they're 24. They're the only flashbacks so I didn't really get a sense of how in love they were over the 7 years.

The story starts with Elliot (a Fireman) receiving a voicemail from his sister's phone and it's Noah and all he can hear is Bailey is driving too fast and a garbled message about someone going to kill them. Elliot is called to the crash and rescues Noah but Bailey dies.

Noah wakes up 15 days later from her coma and has lost her memory and thinks it's 2015 and that Elliot is still her boyfriend and that she's still close to her parents. They tell her it's 2020 and that she split up with Elliot and is now married to Anderson but she can't believe it. Anderson been there upsets her so the Dr advises he not visit for a while (which seemed odd to me considering he's her husband!). She asks to see Elliot and from then on he visits her everyday and it's like they're back in a relationship. They don't tell her that Bailey died. Her husband pays her a few late night visits and she tells him how sorry she is that she can't remember but it's obvious to the reader that Anderson has been an abusive husband.

So after 6 weeks, Noah decides her and Elliot will get back together and she'll tell Anderson she wants a divorce. Considering she still can't remember anything it seemed ridiculous that she was just going to divorce her husband who she had been with for 4 years before she waits to see if her memory comes back?! Elliot at this point has told her why they split up but she doesn't care and just wants to get back with him.

I wouldn't say this book is romantic. I didn't really feel the love between Elliot and Noah or any emotion. The story held no emotion considering the plotline. When they have sex again, Noah performs oral sex on Elliot but he tells her although he has slept with other women during their time apart he did not let them perform oral on him nor did he perform oral on them and that he didn't even kiss them! (I find that hard to believe, who wants to be with a man who doesn't kiss you during sex?!). She moves back into the flat they used to share and everything is as it was but then she finds out Bailey died and is hysterical (again, no emotion in the writing) and then Elliot plays her the voicemail she left him when she was in the car with Bailey but as she hadn't seen her at that point for 4 years they don't know why she was with her.

She decides to go and end things with Anderson (Elliot takes her and waits outside). Obviously he is not happy and has drugged her cup of tea then hits her on the head (she has a brain injury from the car accident and a broken leg). When she comes around she remembers everything and that Anderson had been an abusive husband. She had a scar over her eyebrow from a time he put her in hospital (how come Elliot didn't notice this scar and wonder how she got it?) but remembers other times she ended up in hospital due to his abuse and how he alienated her from her friends and family. Then she remembers that she was leaving him the night of the accident and that she decided to ask Bailey (who she hadn't spoken to in 4 years) to come and pick her up but Anderson follows them and that's how they crashed as there was black ice. Then Anderson become psycho and decides they will die together and he will set their flat and the block of flats on fire. Luckily she had been able to record all this on her mobile! Elliot sees people fleeing from the building then rescues her. Anderson is burnt and taken to hospital. Noah ends up with another brain injury thanks to Anderson hitting her on the head and is put in a coma for 10 days.

In the epilogue it's 5 years later. She now has her own florist named after Bailey. They have a four year old son named Baylor (after Bailey) and she is pregnant with their second child and hoping it's a girl so she can call her Bailey! Bit overkill! Also she obviously got pregnant quite quickly after her second brain injury!

Then it's mentioned that Anderson faced trial for numerous offences which added together meant he would spend the rest of his life in prison. Hmm..not sure how his offences would add up to a life sentence (he didn't cause Bailey's death, she was driving too fast on black ice)?

I know this is an established author but this felt very amateurish to me.

A well written book with excellent characters and a good story line about relationships etc. which kept me involved until the last page.

L.A. Casey is a mastermind. I am absolutely in love with this book. Elliott and Noah’s Love is epic.
It shows that no one is perfect and we all have doubts, worries, and second guess thing in a way that only make sense in our heads. That even the strongest person can feel lost and alone for longer than anyone knows. People can only wish to find a bond as strong as Noah and Elliott have.

I love that this book shows a realistic side of how things can happen in relationships, because they are hard. You have to fight to keep them or you can end up losing.

Fantastic read. Completely recommend.

The plot of the book greatly intrigued me as amnesia stories are fascinating where the main character must piece together not only how they got in the accident in the first place, but also is the life they had really the life they want.
The novel works through Noah’s struggle as she works through her emotions. Does she go with Anderson who she’s married to for the past three years (together for the last four) or does she go with Elliot who is her past love and currently the last man she remembers loving? It took me longer than most novels of this genre to get into the story which surprised me as I loved the concept. Eventually, the story did suck me in as I wanted to see how it was all going to be brought together to create an ending.
One thing I wish this novel did was more flashbacks to build up the characters. As the story is working to help Noah put together pieces of her past, additional moments describing the emotions/thoughts behind these past events would’ve helped to add another dimension to the story and help the reader understand why each character made certain decisions. Without them, some of the choices each character made didn’t make as much sense and you really start to wonder why they did x, y, and z.
I enjoyed the concept and some of the characters, but it was the lack of substance behind the characters that made it difficult to enjoy. Some scenes became very maddening to read as it was hard to understand (1) why no one consulted a psychologist or other mental expert to help Noah yet they all claimed to have her best interests at heart and misunderstandings or an overflow of emotions kept occurring when it could have been aided by outside help and (2) the reasoning behind Noah and Elliot breaking up in the first place to give her a chance to even have Anderson in her life. Those were the main two aspects that I found frustrating, however, I understand that not everyone will care as much about these pieces as much as I did.
Overall, the novel was enjoyable as you want to keep reading to figure out who Noah will choose and the events that will lead her to that decision. Even though, I had some issues with this novel, I would still read more from this author.

This was quite an interesting story and it was enjoyable overall. The characters I had some connection issues with but I couldn’t put this down. There was something about it that kept me in it. While I felt the story did drag a bit at times it did keep me reading until the end. I would recommend this to others to read because it was different for me and I’d be curious as to what others think.

The plot of this story drew me in. Noah wakes up in the hospital with amnesia and can’t remember the last 5 years of her life. She only remembers being with her boyfriend Eli from 5 years ago. But since then they have broken up and she has gotten married. Which none of that she remembers. I liked both characters, there where some sad parts, and also a little suspense. Overall I liked it and thought it was a good original story.

The blurb of this book was so enticing that I just had to grab this book. My request was kindly acccepted by the publisher for an honest review. Unfortunately, I didn’t find the book as interesting as it’s blurb, it was a chaotic drama movie that I had to take the effort to read it. Wow! This book is amazing from start to finish! Once I started reading, I just couldn’t put it down and often found myself wanting to read the end first, just to find out what would happen in the end! I felt like I just needed to know! The blurb is so cleverly written that it literally gives nothing away, no matter how many times you read it, honestly! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will definitely recommend it! Without any spoilers, I absolutely loved the end!

This book was just breathtaking. I smiled, I was sad, I cried and I laughed out loud. I was emotional, this book made me. I was feeling like I was a part of the story. Like I was in the middle of their story.....

Loved it.... this is the type of read that just stays with you. Days after devouring this book I still feel the residual effects of the book hangover I got from this intense read.

What did I like? It’s been awhile since I picked up a book from this author but this book was amazing. Noah wakes up from a coma but her amnesia has her still with her ex from four years earlier. Can anybody say...awkward? She doesn’t remember her husband or that she hasn’t spoke to her parents but she still wants Elliot. So we go on a road to recovery with her not understanding what happened and her faith that she is supposed to be with Elliot and not her husband.

Would I buy or recommend? Yes. Yes. Yes. Book hangover my god. I loved it. Noah is an unfortunate name for a girl but after you get into the story you just don’t want to leave it. I won’t wait a long time to read the next by this author...five stars for a great hangover.

This book was a pretty good romantic suspense, but it could have definitely used more it the suspense! There are a lot of ups and downs emotionally and it ends with a HEA. I liked the writing and the characters a lot!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this book. It’s not one I would normally reach for as romance isn’t really my go to genre. However I am so glad I chose to read this, I loved the character development of Noah and how it flicked between five years ago and present day, especially considering she cannot remember anything that has happened within the last five years. I love her sense of self and how it develops slowly from being so attached to Elliot when she wakes up to gradually learning things on her own again. This book deals with both amnesia and domestic abuse really well and gives us the one thing we all truly want, a knight in shining armour! The character of Elliot was well written and provided enough for us all to fall a bit in love with him. This book was well written, fast paced and easy to read, would definitely recommend!

I started this one but struggled to get into the story and connect to the characters. This story line intrigued me, and I am always a sucker for these types of stories but this one just didn't do it for me. So sadly by the time I reached the 50% mark I decided to not continue and move on from this one

I was always intrigued by the concept of amnesia and how one will continue the life they have just like a child learning all the small steps in life.
The story was interesting and , even if it felt like at a slower pace at times, it still made me want to keep reading so I can find out what really happened before the accident. By 70% in i already suspected the big twist that was yet to come and I wasn’t wrong.
It’s a story about life and decisions and mistakes and of course, a second chance at love and romance with a twist.
I personally couldn’t get over one thing that’s happening in the way everything comes together and that’s why the lower star rating.

This is such an interesting premise- Noah got into an accident and she (yes, she) was saved by her ex, Elliot, a firefighter, who also lost his sister in the same accident. We find out next that she loses 5 years of memory and within those 5 years, she lost contact with her parents, Elliot, his sister, Bailey, and she married 3 years past. She doesn't remember her husband and only wants to be with Elliot but what happens when her memory comes back?

While overall, I enjoyed this story, which I received from NetGalley, there were a few things that were jarring. The speech patterns were a little difficult to deal with consistently- Elliot is Irish and I assume, has Irish speech patterns? eg, lots of "ye" instead of you). Also, the story played out ok because I kind of had an idea of where things were going but I'm not sure that memory loss really forgives how she treated her husband. It was resolved in a good way though. This story also relies on flashbacks, which are not my favorite way to showcase the past but it was done in a way to continue to build the intrigue so I understand why it was done that way. Otherwise, it was fast moving, well-paced and a good story.

Forgetting You hooked me from the start and I finished it in one evening. Elliott and Noah were great interesting characters who I cared about from the start. I figured out the plot right away but that didn't take away from the story. This was the first book I read by LA Casey but it won't be my last.

I really enjoyed Forgetting You, the new standalone by L.A. Casey. This is the story of Noah Ainsley who awakens from a coma after being in a car accident. She learns that she has short term memory loss. Her memories are of her boyfriend Elliot McKenna – not her husband! The story alternates between the past and the present.

“I thought you’d be my forever person.”

There is so much I loved about this book! It is written with Irish and English dialect throughout. I thought the story flowed. There was a bit of mystery as to why Noah left Elliot and married another man. There was also mystery surrounding the car accident that caused her memory loss.

I found Noah to be honest, emotional and charming even though she was shy. Elliot is fun, driven and a bit dominate. He adores Noah and she him. Family and friends also play a significant role in their lives.

Forgetting You is a sweet and intriguing romance. A great September read! Take a break, sit outside and enjoy!

I found this book a real let down. A great premise but with no real connection between the characters shown. A real shame

I am a sucker for a good romance and was very excited to read this one. Overall it was a great story. There was certain parts of the story that I didn't like/agree with but I would definitely recommend this book.

Forgetting You is the lastest second chance romance from author L.A. Casey and it follows the story of Noah and Elliott. When Noah wakes up in a hospital room, she has no idea what happened to her or how she got there. Her brain seems to be stuck 5 years in the past. Noah is horrified to learn that Elliott is no longer hers and that she's married to someone else. Even though Noah is married to someone else, she can't deny the pull she feels towards Elliott. Elliott brings Noah calm in an otherwise chaotic world. Noah has a million questions and unfortunately no answers. When the truth finally comes out, Noah must decide which path is right for her....

Overall, I thought this book was an ok read. I feel in love with the cover and synopsis immediately. I loved the idea of the story and couldn't wait to dive in. Noah's story intrigued me and kept me coming back for more. What was she doing that night? Why was she with Elliott's sister? How did Elliott and Noah break up? And who the heck is Anderson??

However, there were quite a few things that just didn't add in this story for me. First of all, I wanted more of a connection and chemistry with Noah and Elliott. Yes, we saw some flashbacks of their past, but I needed more. I needed to see how Elliott was struggling without Noah; how he still held onto his feelings for her despite her being married to someone else. Speaking of being married to someone else, we didn't really get a lot of answers when it comes to Anderson. I feel like this story could have benefited from a chapter or two from Anderson's point of view just so the reader could get a feel for him and see his connection to Noah. One of the biggest issues I had was Noah pursuing her feelings for Elliott even though she was technically with Anderson. I understand that she went through major trauma, but it just didn't make sense. It frustrated me that Elliott went along with it and that is just a big no-no for me. I also felt like the story resolved itself far too quickly. All this build-up and climax and then the story was just over. 

I wanted to love this book so much, but in the end, it just left me feeling meh. I guess you could say I had quite the love-hate relationship with this book. I think this is a book that may work for some and leave others hanging. I do think this book had some good things going for it, it just wasn't a 100% hit for me. That being said, I'm still glad to have checked this book out.

Ok…I’m going to be honest here. I am a lover of all things L.A. Casey books but Forgetting You was okay.


Noah and Elliot were ridiculously sweet hahaha but the storyline was kind of over the top, kinda cliche and sort of predictable.
It wasn’t bad but it isn’t a book I would gush about with my friends.

Bailey and Noah are in a deadly car accident. Although Noah survives, she remains in a coma for 15 days. This with 26 stitches to her head and countless other injuries.

An interesting take on amnesia. Great plot reveal and characterization. Recommend.

This book is super emotional and made me cry and laugh and every turn. But there is a little too much drama in it. That made it annoying and kind of ruined it for me. It’s probably for you though. I like lighter, softer, funny romances. As soon as a book strays from my regular, (an exception to a couple of amazing books,) I usually don’t like it.

This is a new to me author and when I read the blurb I was intrigued. I've enjoyed other books that have tackled this concept, so I was looking forward to seeing how it was going to be played out this time around.

I loved Elliot. He was sweet and loyal and had an adorable Irish accent. From the beginning I could tell he had a good heart and the more I read the more convinced I became that he was put through the wringer unnecessarily. And even then, he continues to be an overall great person.

Which leads to Noah. I won't lie, I didn't like her. Don't get me wrong, I felt bad for what she went through after her accident, but as the story unfolded and I learned what had happened between her and Elliot my opinion of her changed, which ultimately had an impact on my enjoyment of the story as a whole.

All in all, a good love story with a wide range of emotions and a little intrigue to keep you engaged enough to see it through until the end.

When Casey announced the release of this new book, I was ecstatic. I really love the author's way of writing and her stories.
After a disappointment and a slight revival of her last two novels that I read, Forgetting you returns to the abyss of disappointment.

I admit, the synopsis is something we have already had the opportunity to read, but knowing the author, I expected something shocking, passionate and engaging from the story.
So it wasn't... I'm sorry to say it, but boredom overwhelmed me.

The only positive note of the entire book? Elliot!

The story between Noah and Elliot is something sweet and nice.

The book as a whole is well written, flowing and devours itself in a few hours.
Don't expect a crazy story, but an okay story.

I loved the idea of this book although with the introduction of Anderson you sort of knew what was going to happen. I loved Elliot and Noah together and even the bits with Noah and Anderson were intriguing but I thought there would be more snapshots of memories slowly building to the finale. I also though the reason for Elliot and Noahs breakup would have been more. I can't imagine after all that time someone flying off the handle and leaving for good over that, maybe an argument but that did seem a little too much. Overall though, I did enjoy the story

Loved all of the plot twists in this story. Noah and Elliot go through a lot to find love and many hardships. From the car crash and healing that Noah must endure to regaining her memory and learning her past. Elliot dealing with the loss of his sister, the love of his life and learning how to live again. Was a really good story that makes you truly appreciate family and those you love foŕ being in your life.

When Noah wakes up in the hospital with no memory of the last five years of her life, she only wants to see Elliott ... her now ex-boyfriend. Her husband Anderson is crushed when the doctor asks him to leave because they don’t want anything upsetting Noah ... afraid she will lapse back into a coma. Noah will spend the next weeks of her life trying to remember the last five years. Elliott can’t believe that he is getting a second chance with Noah, but is afraid when she learns why they broke up she’ll go running back to Anderson.

Although I enjoyed the book, I didn’t find the secrets all that surprising. And I just didn’t get why Noah and Elliott broke up when they apparently loved each other so much. The book was okay ... I was just expecting more.

I REALLY wanted to like this book, but the saying “less is more” applies here. The general idea... waking up with a new husband and last remembering being with your ex? Sign me up. The only problem was the ridiculous and unrealistic drama throughout the ENTIRE book. It was just over the top and predictable. This was one of those books that if I wasn’t expected to review, I would’ve put it down before I even got 50%.

I’m used to reading mostly romcoms, so Forgetting You was definitely darker than the stories I usually prefer.
Noah has lost her memory of the last 5 years due to a car accident. Throughout the book there is a mystery to figure out not only what caused the accident but also explanations for relationships in her life. The book stays intriguing throughout the story even as various questions are slowly answered.
I personally did not like the vulgar language and steam level in this book. I felt the language distracted me from the story at times. I skipped ahead in a couple of open door chapters.
I also had a problem with her body issues that she experiences from not recognizing her current size. I didn’t like that throughout the entire story she was weak (due to her injury) and there was a strong man to save the day. I hoped that she would have some kind of personal strength to help her recover but instead the story consistently glorified masculine protection. The second half of the book was better than the first half, but this just wasn’t my type of story.
On the plus side, the love interest, Elliot, is an Irish fireman who sounds incredibly attractive and more importantly he seems like a really good man. At first the Irish dialect (only Elliot) was difficult to read, but then I got used to it and it became endearing. There were some obvious clues leading to the ending but it was still fun to guess theories and then discover the truth along with Noah.

This book was easy to get through and it held my interest, but also had a lot of room for improvement. The pacing felt way too unrealistic to me, the storyline was a little too insta love for my liking and the storyline felt choppy and had a lot of plot holes and left me with more questions.

Like, we gather pretty early on that the current husband is abusive and has isolated the MC and made her distance herself from friends and family over the years and really had broken her down. With such an intense possession/control over her, he wasn't really around throughout the story and I felt it lacked build up to the really intense climax of the story.

I also found it odd that Noah and Elliot were rekindling emotionally and even physically in the hospital while she was literally recovering from a serious brain injury. The intent was for it to be sexy, but it felt more awkward and a bit cringey to me.

Overall, it wasn't a bad read but it wasn't great. A lot was going on in a short amount of time and felt a little all over the place. However, it was action packed and still held my interest and the plot did really intrigue me. I also have a thing for amnesia related storylines so that helped me enjoy it more.

This is a book with an amnesia trope on it. That is the main reason it got me interested on this book. It's been a while since I read a book whose main character has amnesia. I had high hopes for this book.

After reading this, I'm half-half on the rating. It has elements on it that I like and some things that I also don't like.

On this story, Noah, our main heroine was in an accident and woke up and forgotten 5 years worth of memories. Apparently, she's now married and estranged on a lot of her loved ones.

Now came in Elliot, her former boyfriend. But Noah still think that he is her boyfriend. This premise is quite exciting for me. But the execution of the plot fell flat for me.

The mystery part is somehow predictable and I already knew where it is going because this book has a dual pov format. The shifting from past to present time affected the 'continuity' of the book for me.

I like the characters but some choices they made contradicts the persona they are trying to portray. Also we have a one dimensional villain that doesn't have that much exposure.

It is still okay but did not blow my mind.

Like all of LA Casey's books, Forgetting You was well-written, but unfortunately I didn't find this book engrossing at all. It was tough to connect and relate to the characters, and I felt bored most of the time. The plot twist was also easy to predict.

I truly enjoyed this book. I wasn’t sure since I read a couple of the other reviews before reading this book but it was soo good! This book pulled your emotional heart strings. Definitely one of my favorite reads this year.
