Wow! This book is fabulous! I can't wait to get a copy on the shelves in my library as I know it will be borrowed over and over. Stunning illustrations packed full of random quirky facts. Who would have thought that 'Loudest Land Animals: Peru' or 'Most Deadly Tree: Bahamas' - to name but a few(!) would be so interesting. I know that this will be a popular book. It is accessible and attractive - brilliant for reluctant readers. Buy it: enjoy it!!

This book truly is breathtaking. A wonderful collection of record breaking adventures presented beautifully. The book has information from the deepest underground city to the highest river and fastest animal. I really like the way the book is presented, starting with a world map and divided into continents.
It's very accessible, with short facts throughout.
This book would be a great addition to any home/classroom and will be a huge hit with any non-fiction fan.
