Description

At thirty-one years of age, Hakim had walked through the raging fires and cooled himself off with premium gasoline. Depression and anxiety had formed a pact with each relationship he brought himself into, creating a force that he could not withstand. Revealing his past to his therapist, he endeavored to find the reasons for why he continues to suffer. In order to create a bright future, he had to clear out the fog that surrounded him.

His tales are told with details of each woman he courted, recalling upon the past to define reality. Elizabeth, his therapist, assists him in finding a solution and shares her wisdom to walk a new path. With each story, Hakim digs himself deeper, revealing his darkest thoughts that consume his soul. He eagerly yearns for answers, wanting to escape for the moment rather than to run free and wide.

He ends the stories of painful encounters with a plan. As he replays the past, he finds his way out of an entangled mind and resides with peace. The journey may have been too harsh to overcome, but those who hold tightly onto hope will find their way. For every entrance, there is an exit, even if it means breaking down a wall or two.

At thirty-one years of age, Hakim had walked through the raging fires and cooled himself off with premium gasoline. Depression and anxiety had formed a pact with each relationship he brought himself...
