Ensign Ashley Darcom is a young, bisexual, engineer on-board the spaceship, the Alamo. She lives in the Alpha Planetary System in the Andromeda Galaxy. It is comprised of four planets inhabited by her species, the Alphas. 

When Ashley’s home planet, Delta Prime, is destroyed by an unknown race of aliens, she loses her entire family. The loss deeply affects her, causing her to feel alone and isolated, even on a ship full of Alphas. Aboard the Alamo, she and the crew go deep into space in search of the aliens responsible for the attack. Their hope? To protect the remaining three planets in their system. 

While on her first mission beyond their planetary system, she goes on her own erotic journey of self discovery where she encounters many different types of love including platonic, romantic and sexual. Her goal? To learn to live again by overcoming past trauma and learning to trust again. As Ashley navigates safer sex practices, enthusiastic consent, monogamy and polyamory, she must also focus on the mission at hand. 

Will the crew of the Alamo be able to save their race from further attacks? Will they be able to live with the choices that they have to make? Will she be able to find a new place, or person, to call home? 

Andromeda Prime is a sex positive, erotic sci-fi romance. The book contains characters who are bisexual, gay, lesbian, and questioning. The author is polyamorous, neurodiverse, and a member of the LGBTQ+ community. 

This is the first book in the Andromeda Prime series. The sequel comes out in November.
