This is a wonderful book! I love the nutcracker, and although I doubt I got the full effect reading this on a device however I am looking forward to getting my hands on a physical copy of this to read over the Christmas period!

I received an ebook of this beautiful story - the illustrations are so vibrant and eye-catching they would delight any child. The well known story of The Nutcracker is told in a straightforward, short and engaging way so perfect as a present for any child under 6. The physical book contains die cut and layered pages to encourage the reader to interact which unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to see but imagine makes this book even more magical.

I have really enjoyed the books in this series and this one was delightful!

The illustrations in the book were lovely and they really brought the story to life.

I read the book with my three year old daughter and she thought it was wonderful and she remembered that we have nutcrackers that we put on display at Christmas too!

It is 5 stars from me for this one – very highly recommended!

What a glorious example of Christmas spirit! The tale of the Nutcracker is popular in our family from different films, music and the Cbeebies version a few years ago. The artwork is simply gorgeous, and the language simplifies the story for even the smallest ears. I will be reading this to my children throughout the Christmas period, and I think it will become a firm favourite.
5/5 for Christmas joy and superb storytelling through illustrations.

What a stunning book! The Nutcracker is one of those books that grandparents, parents, ourselves and our children have loved and will love for years to come and this edition is absolutely perfect for a firm favourite to read over the festive period. I am going to look into purchasing a physical copy of this one!
