I absolutely love this nonfiction series that Quarto is coming out with. The story and illustrations are so well done. I was so thrilled to see the diversity in this book as I was reading - people of different backgrounds and people with disabilities. Seeing someone with a disability portrayed in this book hits close to home for me. My aunt became disabled as a young child and she has frequently talked about how she rarely saw, read or even heard about anyone else with disabilities growing up. It is so important for young children to see all sorts of different people to help them become familiar with the differences of others as some are not exposed to that in their community/circle. This series is a must have for every daycare and preschool classroom.

Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group – words & pictures for an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review. I think that it's absolutely vital that we aid children in transition to new environments and learning about the environments that they have to be in at some time or another, school being one of this. This book is incredibly well written and easy to understand and would be an absolutely huge help to children. I really hope more children get to read this book.

A nice short story to introduce children to what their average school day may entail. With very bright, eye-catching illustrations which will appeal to younger children

This is a lovely children's book which has beautiful bright and colourful illustrations. I really enjoyed reading this book with my daughter and she loved to see the different lessons that can be done at school, along with the people who help run the school. She also loved the counting aspect of the book and the characters of the book. Many thanks to the author, publisher and netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an electronic copy to read and review. This is an adorable little book about teachers and how they help kids. The rhyming narrative and colourful pictures will be so engaging for young children. I would gift this to my child's daycare or a preschool as I think it is the perfect book for that age group.

I thought that this book was great, my daughter is starting school next year and she is very excited to go so this book was great to show her the kinds of things that will happen and some of the people that she will see during the day. I have read a couple of books in this series now and they are nice, bright and clear and I like the way they have been put together - great to use for me as a mum to bring up the topic of School too! It is 5 stars from me for this one - very highly recommended!
