Description

I am Tesh… Stranded in a different time dimension with no way back to the future, but for the first time free of the System, a Planetary Artificial Intelligence Neural Network that dictates my life and everything in the world in 2098.

I have no way to know if my people are still alive and yet I am here to save them, but if I do… I will lose the man I love for the System forbids us to be together.

If I do not create a new future quickly, all will be lost.

Tesh is coerced to join a rival Conclave and forced to control minds and alter events as a shaper of thoughts, igniting crowd to follow her will for the benefit of the Institute until a planetary crisis looms on the horizon and dooms an entire civilization.

But now I must join a Conclave and control minds and alter events as a shaper of thoughts, igniting crowds to follow my will for the benefit of the Institute, while a planetary crisis looms and the doom of our civilization approaches.

How far will I go with my powers to shape new events and unleash a different destiny for us all? Will I succeed in my mission and forge that new tomorrow?

The first volume of this exciting saga, Newdawn Roamers, spans many years and carries the Newdawn journey over multiple lifetimes, crossing into other realms beyond our dimension. Newdawn Roamers is a captivating tale in the great dystopian Science Fiction tradition of Veronica Roth, Suzanne Collins, and Lauren Oliver.

Join the Newdawn Roamers who are raving about the work of Dominique Luchart in a novel with incredible world-building, stunning twists and turns, great characters, and wonderful internal, thoughtful dialogue.

"JEWd -- Deeply engrossing scifi reinvented. I have not been this engrossed in a book in such a long time. Twists and turns, great characters, time and space moving with speed and grace. Wonderful internal, thoughtful dialogue. A fantastical world of too real today and a glimpse of a too real future. This book is also unique and thoughtful to the point that after awhile, it feels like the book is talking to you in such a personal way. Too damn short and really just a teaser of what must be coming. Like going to the movies when I was a kid and the film ended with “to be continued” and we all cried out because we knew we wanted more. I want more.

Matt Harrison -- I want more. Left on the edge of my seat, I can not wait to find out what happens next! Really loved the premise and deep backstory mixing time periods and cultures. Excellent story!!!

Spencer Beck -- Great Story. Great Book by a new author. Dominique Luchart's book has a great flow in a compelling dystopian-techno thriller-sci-fi drama. I was surprised by how many different levels it was written with a broad approach and visually enjoyable journey.

Roamers is a great story set in Sci-Fi, Suspense, Fantasy, Romance, and Adventure written in a cinematic pace in threading parallel stories. It fits with some of today’s events in relevant and challenging ways. The heroine Tesh and her conclave travel back in time to 2018 to save the future, in 2098. The journey begins…..I can't wait until the next book! Spencer

Juan Andres Adamicska -- Great Novel! I was gladly surprised! This is a thrilling, intelligent, deeply-felt novel which is as original as Indy books can be and as entertaining as a best-seller!

JP -- I REALLY enjoyed ROAMERS. Although a book (purchased the e-version), the flow and storytelling is very visual and makes for an entertaining read that leaves you wanting to turn page after page to find out what is going to happen next; It has the rhythm of a TV series you can’t wait to binge on. Although the novel is Sci-Fi that revisits the theme of “people from the future/other places”, the story adds elements in its storyline that renders the theme and story itself unpredictable. It also reads like a thriller which adds an additional layer and makes a good read for non-Sci-Fi aficionados as well. ROAMERS folds into the storyline contemporary elements and issues humankind realistically faces today; without giving away the story, it deals credibly with AI and the such, our evolution as a species towards the trans-human and the singularity (all without getting nerdy or pompously philosophical). The characters whether from 2098 or 2018, each with their flaws and strengths, are all believable and well-developed in terms of personality, interactions and how their individual actions create an entertaining but plausible Sci-Fi story rooted in the contemporary environment and the many aspects that seem to potentially shape our world in 2018 going forward.

Fay -- Knowing what humans have to deal with and overcome in 2098 gives us a glimpse of hope and take the right action. Imagine... Every day when you wake up, the morning news announces a list of tasks that need to be done in order to secure our future existence in the year 2098. Now, envision that these tasks are set based on the people who actually live in 2098. Knowing what humans have to deal with and overcome by 2098 gives us a glimpse of hope and opportunity to take the right action and set lives on the right course. The author Dominique Luchart, cleverly brings 2098 in our time, and fills the time space in between with possibilities to impact it in the right way the course of our future. NEWDAWN ROAMERS is just the beginning.

Dave C. -- Five Stars. Wonderful. One one the best books that I've read in years.

Eric Osiakwan -- Five Stars ....a class act in modern day storytelling

Mike Miller -- Newdawn makes you think. Newdawn Roamers, written by Dominique Luchart, makes you think. It’s not all about me, the individual. It’s what happens if all of us stay in denial where the current trends are leading us. Just think about water and food supply issues. Without those basic needs, the is no me, or us. So, what can we do now to ensure we all survive, and prosper? Newdawn Roamers transforms us out of denial and into action."

"JEWd -- Deeply engrossing scifi reinvented. I have not been this engrossed in a book in such a long time. Twists and turns, great characters, time and space moving with speed and grace. Wonderful...

This was a really well written book with, strong and complex main heroic characters in a really well crafted future world. The action throughout the story is intense with new and unexpected challenges needing to be overcome. The chapters did jump between several competing stories you could feel would intersect and I kept anticipating what the result would be. Unfortunately being a prequel, I was left waiting for the next book and unfortunately none of Dominique Luchart’s titles are available to purchase through our library’s primary book or ebook vendors.
