Curses of Cousins is a mystery thriller set on Sigatto Island in the Caribbean - a mix of true stories and Caribbean folklore. 

Brooklyn Watts was born into a cursed family. Her mother, father, twin sister, and two younger sisters – incurable diseases plague them all. Brooklyn is no different. Afflicted by multiple sclerosis, she fights for life with both her body and her soul on a daily basis.

A teacher by profession, Brooklyn longs to find out why she and her loved ones suffer as they do. As she delves into the matter deeply, she discovers that her family's curse is the curse of the entire Sigatoo Island community – its roots embedded in their traditional practice of intermarriage. Destined to save the community she loves, Brooklyn sets out to rage war against tradition, ignorance and corruption – and against the very devil himself – one battle at a time.
