I'll keep it short and sweet.

I will be buying the second one when it comes out!

A good book for any lovers of Horror and Sci-Fi.

Interesting.
I liked the opening few pages, it grabbed my interest which is what a book should do. The cover design is spot on for the genre of this book. I am a believer in finishing a book before reviewing it, this will take you a minimum of 9 hours I'd say, I read this over 3 days breaking that up, luckily we had some sun so all good for garden reading.

What can I say about the book? Overall the characters are well developed, I felt like I knew every single one and their personalities fairly well. I liked some a disliked others so had an emotional connection. The darker chapters and gory ones were done very well and as the book went on, past chapter 20, I became more invested and felt the writing became quite professional.

I like the new style this book goes for and would say it is quite unique. I haven't read a story like it, the cliffhanger leading to the second book was great and no one will see it coming. By the end of the book, I felt like the writer had found their style and nailed it and the second book will surely be something truly special.

Overall I like this book, for a self-published book it felt worlds above what I have read in the past, very professional and lacking mistakes, you can tell it was edited well.
If you like Stephen King it has that sort of style and story, the horror is light in most chapters, much more Sci-Fi storytelling goes on. It does get much darker near the end. Would also appeal to comic fans, horror, or Marvel fans.

My one bit of advice... finish the book! I saw one review where they did not and honestly, I can understand if you only read two or three chapters you may see it as average. Sit down with a good tea or coffee and read for a good couple of hours,
I am glad I gave it a chance, very, very surprised by this! And very curious to see where the series goes.

This was a well-written and well-edited book. Kudos to the author!
I love SF&F and this is up there with some of the best authors.
The cliffhanger was annoying - but only because I wanted to read more!
Definitely recommend

This is the perfect horror/sci-fi/fantasy multi-genre!

I really enjoyed this book and it gave me X-Men/Avenger vibes. I really felt like the author had immersed me into a comic book and I was totally here for it!

Personally, I think this would make a brilliant tv show and did remind me of Heroes at times. Especially through the different POVs.

The only negative would be that there were quite a few characters, which I feel prevented me from being able to connect to anyone in particular. The beginning is definitely a slow burner- but if you push through the first 100 pages or so you will not be disappointed!

Unnatural

[Blurb Goes Here]

Unnatural, not unlike the Heroes TV series, is the story of various individuals that unexpectedly find they have unnatural powers, while one can lift things and even himself with his mind, another can transform into a deadly creature. Unknown to most, the individuals are being hunted by a Japanese business man, the CEO of a large corporation. He wants to help those individuals and teach them how to control their new found powers. Or that much he says.

The story is fast paced and character driven. The characters are going through changes and you can see how they evolve.

I wasn't to kin on the ending though, it's a cliff hanger giving us a glimpse into the next installment, one that will be all too familiar for fans of the Heroes TV series. Still I recommend this read, It was fun and at times a bit scary.

Thank you for the advanced copy!

Great book. I was pleased to meet young teenagers all around the world with new strange powers and how they are trying to learn to leave with it.I enjoyed all the characters but I did not like all the swearing, it would have been great without, in my opinion.
