Description

In a story ripped from today’s headlines, Iran has launched a nuclear attack on Israel and the Great Satan, the United States.

The president of Iran has little idea that his grand plan would initiate a series of events that fulfills prophecies in both Islamic and Christian holy writings. The return of the Islamic Messiah, the one the Bible calls the Antichrist, is imminent. The missiles go astray and destroy the Dome of the Rock. While the Israeli attack fails, Iranian agents succeed in destroying the nation’s capital as well as several American cities. At the same time, Christians are removed from the earth in a mass exodus.

The 12th Imam, the long awaited Islamic Messiah, returns from the Jamkaran well, from a slumber of nearly 1,200 years. These events unite Jewish, Islamic and the remaining Christian adherents as each of their end-times writings converge on a single individual.

The Twelfth Imam: Rise of the Antichrist is a fast-paced thriller that will keep the reader on a rollercoaster ride that never slows down. The book is not your normal work of Christian end-times non-fiction.

Its doomsday premise is based not just on real-world events, but actual threat assessments from national security experts and think tanks regarding scenarios that can plunge America back to the dark ages.

•About 1.8 billion live under Islam, the second largest religion.•Islam has been trying to take over the world since Mohamed established it in the 6th century.

•Shia Islam, Iran being one of the largest Shiite countries, believes in a coming Islamic Messiah, the 12th Imam, who will come and rule the world for 7 years at the end of time.

•Many Shiites believe they can hurry his return by destroying Israel.

•Islamic details about the 12th Imam line up with Bible details about the Antichrist.

•Could the Religion of the Antichrist be with us already?

James Parker has taken the well-established Bible doctrine of the rapture and presented it with a fresh look by tying it to Islamic end-time prophesies.

Parker has shown there is a clear Islamic connection to Christian end-time prophesies regarding the antichrist. His first novel is a fast-paced political action thriller that will appeal to religious and secular lovers of mystery and mayhem.

The action takes place mostly in New York City and the Islamic countries of the Middle East.

Parker skillfully weaves together end times theology from the three great Abrahamic religions – Judaism, Christianity, and Islam – and explores a maze of ancient prophecies that, if unchecked, might lead to “the end of days.”

"James W. Parker has taken the well-established Bible doctrine of the rapture and presented it with a fresh look by tying it to Islamic end-time prophesies. While most end-time novels focus on the traditional narrative first established in the 1970's, Parker has shown there is a clear Islamic connection to Christian end-time prophesies regarding the Antichrist.

His approach is in keeping with the scriptures, and his approach feels as if it is taken right from the newspapers of today. We are currently seeing the rise of Islam with attempts to establish a one world caliphate along with the rise of extremists in countries such as Egypt, Syria, Libya and others. This, along with attempts to establish Sharia law in the US court system and in towns like Dearborn, Michigan makes the 12th Imam's premise seem very plausible indeed.

Dan Kane- Author

James Parker has been a faithful member of Liberty Baptist Church of Las Vegas, for many years. He is a committed Christian with a great working knowledge of the Word of God. His new book The Twelfth Imam, though fictitious is based on solid Bible teaching concerning the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe this book will be an encouragement to many Christians and hopefully encourage those who do not know Christ to make a personal commitment to Him.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Twelfth Imam: Rise of the Antichrist. The biblical premise and creative way in which the author wove Bible truth into his intriguing story, was not only entertaining but also challenging. We do not know exactly what will take place when the Anti-Christ is revealed, but it was intriguing to look into this future event through the eyes of the author. I recommend this book to anyone interested in biblical prophecy and who believes that the Word of God is to be interpreted literally.

Sincerely,

Following is from the official OnlineBookClub.org review of ""The 12th Imam: Rise of the Antichrist"" by James W, Parker.

This book is quite unique from any other end time's books that I have ever read. the author pulls together the prophecies from both Christianity and Islam and weaves quite the interesting tale of what could happen in the Last days of planet Earth. I would not have thought it possible that the two would mesh together, but Mr. Parker does a fine job of pulling it off."

Based on current events and Biblical prophecy, James Parker's fiction book captures what the end may look like. The Iranian President fires indestructible and unstoppable missiles on Israel, hoping to obliterate the Great Satan. But the missiles converge onto the Dome of the Rock, devastating it. Cities in America are destroyed, too. People are left in disbelief as others literally disappear with no warning or trace. Global chaos ensues.

The 12th and last imam arrives on the scene and offers world peace. Events escalate quickly, including new technology and the spread of Islam. Interestingly, there is nothing in this book that is not already happening or could easily happen soon.

Eschatology readers, do read this. It would also appeal to General Fiction and Nonfiction readers alike. Though it is a Christian book, you need not be a Christian to get something out of it.

My sincere thank you to BooksGoSocial and NetGalley for the privilege of reading the e-ARC of this thought-provoking book.

🧨 Ladies and gentlemen of the world, I am here today to announce to you that as my final act as the President of Iran I have just ordered the launching of our nuclear missiles against the Nation of Israel.
When the president of Iran announced to the world his country had just launched three nuclear missiles at Israel, little did he realize his grand plan would set in motion a series of events that fulfilled prophecies in both Islamic and Christian holy writings by heralding the return of the Islamic Messiah, the one the Bible calls the antichrist.

The end times have been written about by numerous people. Even so, this book is unique in how the story is told. Seemingly unrelated events come together and reveal that the world is in the last days. People who missed out on the Rapture realize that the trouble has just begun. Though Christians are not sure exactly how the actual the end will be, this book does a nice job of giving a possible scenario. There are several different people and areas involved at first, but they become connected as the plot unfolds.

The 12th Imam maintains a nice pace. The action moves along quickly, but you can keep up with the events easily. It has the bonus of making you stop and think, both from a religious and political standpoint. There are some things that I would like to have seen expanded, times when it seemed that the story was put on fast-forward, but I still liked the book.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

I'm very impressed with the knowledge and attention to detail that the author provides in this story that gives it realistic current political undercurrents as well as cultural and religious beliefs all rolled into one. He brings it all together into a believable revelation end of times story set in the current day and time. It's very believable and realistic. It's also very scary! It kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next! I highly recommend this book regardless of what your beliefs are.

Outstanding research is obvious in the story and the background information. There are many characters, but generally the reader is able to keep them in order. The characters are quite realistic and I loved them! The book is quick moving, which is what I wanted! I couldn't seem to read fast enough!! I really enjoyed the book!
