This was a lovely collection of poems. The poems are perfect for children. The illustrations were awesome and reminded me of Where the Sidewalk Ends. Most of the poems rhymed. This was a quick, but great read.

Illustrated, funny and fresh short stories written as poems for kids. It has funny and cute illustrations on the inside.
It's a fresh and light reading, written in light verses with rhythm.
It talks about childhood, adulthood, friendship, food, and children topics.
I have to say that I haven't connected with its poems, but I really found them very beautiful and so well written. This book mixes general children topics with a humor so fresh and easy for children to understand.
It's perfect for children around ages 8-10!

“Collector of Things & Other Poems” transported me back to childhood. Similar style to the classic “Where the Sidewalk Ends”, with the audience being today’s generation of children.
Imaginative, fun, silly, laugh aloud, simplistic yet detailed illustrations, and oh so much fun! With a cast of memorable characters and great poems throughout, makes this a great book for middle school aged kids!

This collection of over 100 children's verses features fun and whimsical characters like Millionaire Montgomery, inspiring hours of lighthearted entertainment and poetic hilarity. The poems are whitty and laugh out loud silliness, while the illustrations are reminiscent of "Where the Sidewalk Ends." With topics ranging from family to food, friendships to the absolute nonsense, we laughed our way this one. This poetry collection is perfect for poetry tea time or just any time, and it's perfect for children ages 7-10... and their parents too!
