These stories are absolutely wild in the best way. From sentence to beautiful sentence, you never know which way they're going to go, making every phrase its own little mystery. I would characterize these stories as something between magical realism and experimentalism, because they break apart the known world into a place that's almost beyond our power to reckon with.
I really enjoyed my time with this collection and will be recommending it to friends.
