This is the first time I have read this author’s works, but I will be going back to get more stories. His writing style is a little different than what I am used to, but I still enjoyed the story. I can’t wait to find out what happens next!

Utterly professional, full of technical spy and military talk and snappy foreign policy talk, this is rather cold and bloody, full of melodramatic characters and situations. Strangely predictable all the time.. and awfully long .. but those readers who like this kind of rather cliche ridden spy thrillers will like it .. there's incredibility throughout .. a father and daughter, both so high ranking in spy world???.. hmm .. chemistry-less love relationship with another agent? But it goes with the conventional tropes of this genre, ticks all the boxes in energetic prose. So for those readers who love this genre .. 5 stars .. for those who like less forward drive and more developed characters, it's 3 star .. so I'll give it 4 stars...
