Advance Praise

"The Seekers' Garden by Isa Ritchie took me by complete surprise. The synopsis doesn't do justice for all of the topics this novel covers and weaves together so creatively. The five main characters are so different from each other, each giving such a unique perspective on life that I almost felt like I was reading journal entries. With this writing style you cannot help but like the characters because you're on a personal level with them." - Tracy Beth, reviewer

This is a profoundly moving, beautiful book. I loved all of the characters, deeply, and didn't want to leave their world. The Seeker's Garden is a treasure, and I'm delighted to have found it.

A story of life thru the eyes of many different people all from different ages. They all have one thing in common. They are trying to find themselves and live. This book has moments of heartbreak, love, and hope.

This is a unique story about 5 very different people with various issues going on in their lives, all on a soul-searching journey and a way to move forward with what they feel is blocking them emotionally.

Marcia moves from England to New Zealand, Iris leaves her unfulfilling job on a whim to write a self-help book while her teenage son Alex struggles with life and his girlfriend. Lea is Alex’s girlfriend and tries to make sense of the feelings she has for Alex and life in general. Mrs. Evergreen is the aging woman living next door to Marcia and Zane, the rockstar living on the other side of the world. As the story moves along the events bring the main characters together.

I liked the way the connections to each other were made to each other. The author gives us a very personal look at the characters inner thoughts. It’s a book with influences of holistic awareness and New Age philosophy. The spirituality side is strong. While this might appeal to many people, it’s not an area that holds too much interest for me however it didn’t detract my curiosity in the storyline and my appreciation of the author’s . writing. I think perhaps people that are looking at new ways of seeing things and a different perspective of life might enjoy this novel.

This is the perfect book if you happen to find yourself in a period of change or contemplation. Beautifully written, it easily transports readers on their own journey through the stories of each character and examines relationships in a far deeper way than I was prepared for. I highly recommend this book!
