I think every young child is in awe of space and space travel, so this is the perfect book for little ones who want to read about the journey to the moon!
Following the three Apollo 11 crew, Michael, Buzz and Neil, it starts with their training and subsequent mission to the moon.
The storytelling is great and tells the story smoothly and is a lovely little introduction to this space mission. Of course it’s massively oversimplified but that is the point. It’s easy to follow and nice to read with some great pictures and illustrations to capture the imagination of any little reader.

In 1969, 3 men were the face of a change in what we as humanity could achieve. This delightful picture book distils the complex details of the Apollo 11 mission into vital information in such a charming way that will appeal to young children. The illustrations were joyous, especially of the astronauts that represented them perfectly.
The ideal book for the tiny space geek in your life!
