Description

‘A swirl of confetti made of joy, romance and just a few tears. Huge fun.’
#1 Bestselling author Katie Fforde

‘A modern, feisty heroine… Georgia had me rooting for Lily’s happy ever after right from the start.’Jo Bartlett, Bestselling author of The Cornish Midwife series

Where saying I do is just the beginning…

Lily loves living in Hawke’s Cove, and planning her best friend’s wedding at the Hawkesbury estate is the icing on the cake. But when the estate’s owner dies, and his son cancels the wedding, Lily must face Henry Hawkesbury – a man she hasn’t seen since that fateful night ten years ago…

Henry wants nothing more than to return to Hawke’s Cove, sell his estranged late father’s estate and leave. He certainly does not want to host a wedding, or face Lily, who gets on with everyone – except him!

But when Henry needs Lily’s help, she will only provide it if the wedding can go ahead. Working together means both must face their pasts, and, in doing so embrace their future. But can two people afraid of love acknowledge what they have always wanted…?

A quick, easy, cute and uplifting read perfect for light reading after some heavy books. I loved the writing, loved the characters and loved the storyline. It was a great way to end the series and perhaps the authors best book yet I loved it.

A Supremely sublime five-star read. I have loved the whole Meet me series, and this story feels like coming home to a special place. Lily has always felt a little like the friend left behind, but reading this story, you realise that she wasn’t left behind, she has been following her own path, but time has become a fork in the path, and you need to read this story to find out which path she will take. Lily has been through so much, she has fought so hard to stay on the path and not loose it all along the way, not just the accident, but her dad and then Blake, life is hard in so many ways, I was so glad that she finally gets what she deserves. But it was little lord Fauntleroy who really surprised me and made me in care so deeply. The whole way through this series I have been wishing I was one of the girls, enjoying lost hours calls, flocking all over the world. But I truly felt like one of the girls coming home to roost in this story.

Just lovely. An excellent end to the series and full of the emotional highs, drama and friendship that is now expected from Georgia Toffolo. The four friends come together for Victoria’s wedding which may not happen. We follow Lily as she fights for the wedding to happen and go on her journey as she sorts through her feelings for her home, the job she does and the neighbours she has as well as, obviously, for Henry.

A quick and easy read that I found myself picking up after a long day to unwind. The characters are beautifully written and I came to love them within the first few pages and was rooting for them all the way to the end. At times I wanted to stop reading because I just wanted the experience to go on for longer.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Absolutely loved this book! Can't believe this is the final book in the series- really don't know what I am going to do without the 'Awesome Foursome'! This book was as usual well written and a lovely easy read. A lot of unanswered questions get answered throughout the course of the book; mostly around the subject of the car accident which we learn about in the very first novel 'Meet me in London'. I have enjoyed every single one of these books and have loved learning about each of these characters; ending up with the lovely Lily. We hear of Lily throughout all of the stories but it was lovely to read her story and how her character is with the main male in this book Henry. 100% recommend this book to all; I would also recommend that the story's are read in the correct order also but such a lovely story to end the series!
