I enjoyed this book, it was well written and I spent the entire time with my heart in my mouth. It was full of creppy atmospheric imagery of the occult and was unpredictable and brimming with mystery. The narrative takes a while to get used too as it bounces back and forth and takes the reader a while to catch up, but overall this took nothing from the book.

This was a pretty good, interesting book. Lots of Roma mythology, a little bit of gore, a decently fleshed-out cast of characters. Personally, I thought the normal speaking of the characters was a little overdone (who the heck actually uses the word "engrossed" in conversation?)

Overall, a good read. I enjoyed it.

Thanks to Netgalley, authors Gina & Anne DiCarlo and Black Rose Writing for allowing me to read the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

All opinions are my own.

Really enjoyed this book, a vampire story that doesn't have glamorous, sexy lovable vampires but true monsters.
I loved all the characters, they were all believable and likable.
The story seems like its left the way open for another story and I'm really hoping that there is one.
Highly recommend.
